  • Patent number: 10055581
Abstract: A technique for locating a wireless communication attack includes monitoring of Bluetooth® communications activity by a Bluetooth® capable communication device. Any monitored communication activity is analyzed against parameters that are predefined to detect a communication attempt by a suspected criminal device to an illicit device. If the communication attempt by the suspected criminal device is detected by the analysis, a communication to the criminal device is controlled so as to delay completion of the communication to the criminal device in order to provide time to locate the criminal device.

Abstract: A system for the removal of nitrogen from a liquid natural gas (LNG) stream. The system. comprises a feed heat changer and a stripper column. The heat receives the LNG stream and cools the LNG stream via heat exchange with a stripper column side-draw stream to yield a cooled LNG stream and a heated side-draw stream. The stripper column receives the cooled LNG stream at a first tray and the heated side-draw stream. The stripper column produces the stripper column side-draw stream, a stripper column overhead stream, and a stripper column bottom stream. The stripper column side-draw stream is taken from the stripper column at a second tray. The second tray is at least about 15 feet higher than the feed heat exchanger.

  • Patent number: 9729634
Abstract: A distributed storage system that includes memory hosts. Each memory host includes non-transitory memory and a network interface controller in communication with the memory and servicing remote direct memory access requests from clients. The memory receives a data transfer rate from each client in communication with the memory host through remote direct memory access. Each memory host also includes a data processor in communication with the memory and the network interface controller. The data processor executes a host process that reads each received client data transfer rate, determines a throttle data transfer rate for each client, and writes each throttle data transfer rate to non-transitory memory accessible by the clients through remote direct memory access.
