  • Patent number: 10879727
Abstract: A method and apparatus for controlling the load presented to one or more power sources such as a power grid, backup power generator or solar panel is described. By selectively connecting, disconnecting, limiting and controlling various loads which are powered, the power grid service connection and power sources may be economically sized and operated while allowing reliability and convenience in selecting and powering loads. The control of the loads connected to the power sources is prioritized by various parameters including the power source operation parameters including load handling capability, type of load, load size, environmental factors, load usage during and subsequent to load connection, load priority and operator wishes. The control may also operate to facilitate transfer of power from one power source or load to another power source or load.

  • Publication number: 20200270395
Abstract: Disclosed are void-containing films and shrinkable films which show excellent density reduction that is retained upon exposures to high temperatures. The voiding agents are hollow glass microspheres. The shrinkable films have high shrinkage and retain their low density after processing under conditions of temperature and moisture used in typical recycling processes. The films are useful as for sleeves, labels, laminates and other shrinkable film applications, and their lower density allows them to be readily separated from soft drink bottles, food containers and the like during recycling operations.

  • Publication number: 20200069084
Abstract: A cuboctahedron-shaped photo cube, comprised of six identically folded sheets of strong, but flexible transparent thermoplastic, assembled to allow the display of six two or three dimensional pieces of art or other objects. Each sheet has a square area, serving as a display panel and is accompanied by a backing sheet to press two-dimensional art firmly against it. Users access the interior by pulling a sheet from the structure. Art or objects are then placed inside the unit. To replace the removed sheet, one of its winged tabs is pinched with a thumb and forefinger and inserted into one of the available slots on the structure until it snaps into place. This action is repeated for the remaining aligned tabs and slots. The purpose of this invention is to present six display panels simultaneously without any being placed on the bottom, hidden from the viewer.
