  • Patent number: 10136567
Abstract: Methods and devices for shielding electronic equipment within an enclosure are disclosed. One method includes positioning electronic equipment within an interior volume of a shielding enclosure having an opening providing access to the interior volume, the opening surrounded by an enclosure frame. The method further includes closing a door to the shielding enclosure, thereby closing off the opening, and engaging one or more latches to affix the door in a closed position, the door including a shielding curtain positioned across the opening. The method also includes inflating an inflatable member positioned along a perimeter of the door frame, thereby applying a uniform pressure to the shielding curtain toward the enclosure frame to form a seal therebetween.

  • Patent number: 10106093
Abstract: A motor vehicle drawer assembly is disclosed having a slideable drawer and a moveable plate housed in a casing. The drawer and the plate both have overlying compressible members used to restrain from movement an item placed in the drawer when the drawer is in a closed position. Movement of the drawer to the closed position causes the plate to move towards the drawer to clamp any item resting on the drawer thereby restraining movement of the item but not until the drawer approaches the closed position. The use of a clamping mechanism that only allows for movement of the plate towards the drawer when the drawer approaches the closed position prevents the plate from interfering with stowing of the item.

Abstract: A lamp assembly for a vehicle is disclosed. The assembly includes a reflector having a proximal end and a distal end. The reflector has a surface having a plurality of reflective faces spread over an arc therebetween, the arc being generally concave. The reflector forms part of a recess, the recess having spaced-apart parallel walls. A light emitting diode (LED) light source is disposed near the proximal end of the reflector and remote from the distal end of the reflector and the light source is oriented to emit light onto the reflective faces. A lens is positioned in front of the reflector. The lens is arranged to receive light from the reflector. In use, light is output from the lens with a substantially uniform luminance over a viewing angle of at least 45 degrees in a plane.

  • Patent number: 10082374
Abstract: A round for a magnetically chambered air gun has a magnetically influenced portion and a non-magnetically responsive portion, as well as an exterior shell and an interior. The interior may be hollow, solid, or filled with liquid. Any part of the invention may be the magnetically responsive portion: the shell, the interior, the solid or liquid core and so on. The round may advantageously be spherical, and may include an actual magnet itself as opposed to merely being magnetically responsive. Magnetic materials may be impregnated into a non-magnetic portion such as a plastic shell. The shell may be of multiple part construction with a snap together design.

  • Publication number: 20180217576
Abstract: Various embodiments are related to processor subsystems of material handling systems performing methods of creating one or more case placement patterns for placement of cases on a pallet by a palletizer. A human-machine interface (HMI) is executed by the processor subsystem that provides a control affordance to a user, selection, or to provide numerical inputs, for creating or selecting pre-created patterns. The HMI is adapted to provide preview of patterns in real-time, while the patterns are created. In this regard, the preview of patterns corresponds to currently positioned representations of cases on a pallet. The HMI is also adapted to render dynamic changes on the previewed pattern as the cases are positioned on the pallet, in real world, by the palletizer.

  • Publication number: 20180172391
Abstract: In an open chamber air gun, a round is gravity fed or magnetically fed into the open chamber and falls into the magnetic flux lines of a magnet disposed at the chamber. Due to the magnet, the round is pulled securely into the chamber and then remains momentarily held in place, blocking much of the air behind it and thus increasing the air pressure driving it. When the round moves down the barrel from the breech toward the muzzle, it quickly leaves the vicinity of the magnet and the magnetic drag ceases, after which the air pressure is free to drive the round to full velocity. High rates of fire and muzzle velocities are achieved with moderate air pressure and an action with no moving parts.

  • Patent number: 9995427
Abstract: A height adjustable pylon and supporting frame assembly is provided. The frame includes two frame members meeting at a corner with the frame members being generally co-planar and the pylon being urged into the corner so as to extend at generally right angles to a plane including the two frame members. A fastener assembly has two end portions each anchored relative its associated frame member so as to extend transversely to it. The fastener assembly includes an intermediate saddle portion engaging a surface of the pylon that is directed outwardly relative to the corner with the pylon being urged into the corner when the fastener assembly is tightened to engage the pylon and lock it axially relative to the frame members in a selected position. Preferably, the frame members each form two upper and two lower frame members of two trusses. Lower ends of the pylons may support the assembly.

  • Patent number: 9982098
Abstract: Adding a compatible high melt flow rate (MFR), low melt viscosity, hydrogenated styrene block copolymer to amorphous poly alpha-olefins (APAOs) results in adhesives that show acceptably high elongation and tensile strength, and which, when applied by different hot melt application methods onto elastic strands, result in personal hygiene article components that perform comparably to such components assembled using just styrene block copolymer components formulated with compatible tackifiers, processing oils and other additives.

  • Patent number: 9969079
Abstract: An example modular reconfigurable workcell for quick connection of peripherals is described. In one example, a modular reconfigurable workcell comprises modular docking bays on a surface of the workcell that support attachment of docking modules in a fixed geometric configuration, and respective modular docking bays include electrical connections for a variety of power and communication busses of the docking modules to be attached. The workcell also includes an electrical subsystem for coupling the communication busses between the modular docking bays and providing power circuitry to the modular docking bays, and structural features in the modular docking bays to enable insertion of the docking modules in the fixed geometric configuration. The workcell also includes a processor for determining a geometric calibration of attached peripherals based on a location and the orientation of corresponding docking modules attached to the modular docking bays and based on an identification of the attached peripherals.
