Abstract: Methods and systems for intraoperatively determining alignment parameters of a spine during a spinal surgical procedure are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a method of intraoperatively determining an alignment parameter of a spine during a surgical procedure includes receiving initial image data of the spine including multiple vertebrae and identifying a geometric feature associated with each vertebra in the initial image data. The geometric features each have a pose in the initial image data and characterize a three-dimensional (3D) shape of the associated vertebra. The method further comprises receiving intraoperative image data of the spine and registering the initial image data to the intraoperative image data. The method can then update the pose of each geometric feature based on the registration and the intraoperative image data, and determine the alignment parameter based on the updated poses of the geometric features associated with two or more of the vertebrae.

  • Patent number: 12072757
Abstract: An aspect of the invention is directed towards a data processing system and method including a transaction scheduler configured to process transactions, a tag control circuit coupled to the transaction scheduler configured to detect a fault by comparing output signals, and a controller coupled to the tag control circuit. The controller is configured to receive a transaction request identifying a transaction, generate a unique tag value for the transaction request, load the unique tag value into the transaction scheduler, determine a current unique tag value associated with the transaction being executed, and generate a fault. The system is further configured to generate fault when: (i) the current unique tag value is not found, or (ii) the transactions timeout after a predetermined number of cycles.

  • Patent number: 12073422
Abstract: Web-based opinion survey method, apparatus, and computer-readable media operable to cause propositional function responses to be provided to a survey server from a client device. The propositional functions are P(x), where P and x are the predicate and subject. Each P(x) is evaluated in the client device for subjects, each with a different x. Preferably, the client device displays the subjects within a Web Single Page Application (SPA) running on the client device. Preferably, the SPA displays a nonnumerical scale, the granularity of which is directly proportional to the number of pixels spanned by the scale. For each P(x), the client device displays labeled markers along the scale, to provide an indication of a level of agreement with the expressed P(x). For each P(x) subject, the client expresses an opinion on a position on the scale, whereby a pixel position corresponds to a rating for the selected subject.

  • Publication number: 20240273202
Abstract: Systems and methods for adaptively detecting and mitigating RowHammer attacks or events against computer memories have been described. In an illustrative, non-limiting embodiment, a system may include a memory controller, and a RowHammer detection circuit coupled to the memory controller, where the RowHammer detection circuit is configured to: receive a count of activate commands for a segment of a memory device, where the segment comprises one or more of a plurality of memory cell rows; and detect a RowHammer event based, at least in part, upon a determination that the count of activate commands meets at least one of a plurality of trigger levels. Either the RowHammer detection circuit, or a different circuit, can then apply at least one of a plurality of RowHammer mitigation techniques, wherein each of the plurality of RowHammer mitigation techniques corresponds to at least one of the plurality of trigger levels.

  • Patent number: 12052172
Abstract: Techniques for enforcing an egress policy at a target service are described. In an example, traffic is generated for a customer tenancy, where the traffic is generated by a multi-tenancy service. The traffic can be destined to the target service. The traffic can be tagged by the multi-tenancy service with information indicating that the traffic is egressing therefrom on behalf of the customer tenancy. The customer tenancy can be associated with the egress policy. The target service can determine the egress policy based on the information tagged to the traffic and can enforce the egress policy on the traffic that the target service is receiving.

  • Publication number: 20240217520
Abstract: Determining an instantaneous vehicle characteristic (e.g., at least one yaw rate) of an additional vehicle that is in addition to a vehicle being autonomously controlled, and adapting autonomous control of the vehicle based on the determined instantaneous vehicle characteristic of the additional vehicle. For example, autonomous steering, acceleration, and/or deceleration of the vehicle can be adapted based on a determined instantaneous vehicle characteristic of the additional vehicle. In many implementations, the instantaneous vehicle characteristics of the additional vehicle are determined based on data from a phase coherent Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) component of the vehicle, such as a phase coherent LIDAR monopulse component and/or a frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) LIDAR component.

  • Publication number: 20240207715
Abstract: A device which is capable of tightly organizing billiard balls into a diamond or triangle pattern of various sizes. The inventive device consists of two sides which are fastened together in a fixed sixty degree position and a floating third side. The two fixed sides and the floating third side are interlaced which allows the third side to move freely along a plane. The interlacing ceases at the ends of the fixed sides which prevents the floating third side from breaking free from the fixed sides. When laid flat on a billiards table the floating third side can be used to firmly press the billiard balls together into a desired pattern. The floating third side swivels from a center bolt, and can be locked into position by a pin or latching mechanism. In one position the device can organize the billiard balls into a triangle pattern of various sizes. In another position the device can organize the billiard balls into a diamond pattern of various sizes.

  • Patent number: 12020209
Abstract: As digital assets are created and shared, design components that comprise those digital assets are curated, organized, and tracked so as to allow meaningful relationships to be established between shared assets and design components. The tracking that underlies such relationships is provided by metadata associated with a given design component. This metadata may include information such as an asset identifier that identifies a source digital asset from which the design component was extracted; a version identifier that identifies a version of the source digital asset; an author identifier that identifies an author of the source digital asset; and a layer identifier that can be used to reveal the context in which the design component was derived from the source asset. This metadata allows relationships to be established between a design component and the digital assets that incorporate that design component, thus facilitating asset and component tracking and update notification broadcasting.

  • Publication number: 20240196923
Abstract: A product conveying and coating system includes multiple, sequentially arranged conveyor units, with at least one conveyor unit being an open belt type. A carrier sheet is placed on a first of the conveyor units, a web of coating material in liquid form is deposited on the carrier sheet and spaced ropes of soft and sticky material are deposited on and settle into the web. The carrier sheet, web and ropes are transferred to a second conveyor unit after the coating material of the web solidifies, whereupon the ropes are cut into bar-length pieces. Thereafter, the carrier sheet is removed while the web and pieces are transferred to the open belt conveyor unit and exposed to an enrober. The enrober coats the pieces while melting portions of the web between the pieces in order to form full coated or encapsulated food products with soft and sticky cores.
