  • Patent number: 12020209
Abstract: As digital assets are created and shared, design components that comprise those digital assets are curated, organized, and tracked so as to allow meaningful relationships to be established between shared assets and design components. The tracking that underlies such relationships is provided by metadata associated with a given design component. This metadata may include information such as an asset identifier that identifies a source digital asset from which the design component was extracted; a version identifier that identifies a version of the source digital asset; an author identifier that identifies an author of the source digital asset; and a layer identifier that can be used to reveal the context in which the design component was derived from the source asset. This metadata allows relationships to be established between a design component and the digital assets that incorporate that design component, thus facilitating asset and component tracking and update notification broadcasting.

  • Patent number: 12011227
Abstract: Methods and systems for intraoperatively determining alignment parameters of a spine during a spinal surgical procedure are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a method of intraoperatively determining an alignment parameter of a spine during a surgical procedure includes receiving initial image data of the spine including multiple vertebrae and identifying a geometric feature associated with each vertebra in the initial image data. The geometric features each have a pose in the initial image data and characterize a three-dimensional (3D) shape of the associated vertebra. The method further comprises receiving intraoperative image data of the spine and registering the initial image data to the intraoperative image data. The method can then update the pose of each geometric feature based on the registration and the intraoperative image data, and determine the alignment parameter based on the updated poses of the geometric features associated with two or more of the vertebrae.

  • Publication number: 20240192378
Abstract: Determining classification(s) for object(s) in an environment of autonomous vehicle, and controlling the vehicle based on the determined classification(s). For example, autonomous steering, acceleration, and/or deceleration of the vehicle can be controlled based on determined pose(s) and/or classification(s) for objects in the environment. The control can be based on the pose(s) and/or classification(s) directly, and/or based on movement parameter(s), for the object(s), determined based on the pose(s) and/or classification(s). In many implementations, pose(s) and/or classification(s) of environmental object(s) are determined based on data from a phase coherent Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) component of the vehicle, such as a phase coherent LIDAR monopulse component and/or a frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) LIDAR component.

  • Publication number: 20240185907
Abstract: A refresh circuit selects a candidate bank for refreshing from various banks of a dynamic random access memory (DRAM). Initially, the refresh circuit checks if any bank is idle (e.g., is not targeted for memory operations). If two or more banks are idle, the candidate bank is selected based on a count of accesses targeted to each occupied bank and bank-pair distances between each pair of idle and occupied banks. Conversely, if all banks are occupied, the refresh circuit selects the candidate bank based on a count of data accesses targeted to each bank and/or a count of parity accesses targeted to each bank. Each data access has the same type as that scheduled for execution on the DRAM. Once the candidate bank is selected, the refresh circuit triggers the refresh of the candidate bank.

  • Patent number: 12003942
Abstract: Electroacoustic drivers that can be utilized in loudspeaker systems that utilize drivers having a magnetic negative spring (MNS) (such as reluctance assist drivers (RAD) and permanent magnet crown (PMC) drivers). The electroacoustic drivers can be used at all audio frequencies, including subwoofer frequencies. The magnetic negative springs of the electroacoustic drivers can cancel, or partially cancel, the large pressure forces on a sound panel (of an audio speaker) so that substantial subwoofer notes can be efficiently and cost effectively produced in small/portable speakers. The electroacoustic drivers can include a stabilizing/centering mechanism to overcome the destabilizing forces of a MNS that are too large for a voice coil alone to produce.

  • Publication number: 20240165919
Abstract: Described herein are deadfront assemblies that are configured to exhibit variable transmission and reflection performance attributes. The deadfront assemblies described herein comprise a first ink layer, an intermediate layer, and a second ink layer. The intermediate layer is disposed between the first and second ink layers and is configured to reflect light that is transmitted through the first ink layer back through the first ink layer so that one or more colors of the ink in the first ink layer is visible in the reflected light. The second ink layer is configured to counteract deviations in optical transmission caused by the first ink layer so that light transmitted through the deadfront assembly is not perceptively altered in color. Overlapping regions of the first and second ink layers comprise inverse appearance attributes so that light output from a light source and transmitted through the deadfront assembly has a desired appearance.
