  • Patent number: 10226112
Abstract: A hand held appliance including a handle having an outer wall, an inner structure disposed within the outer wall and an end wall extending across the outer wall wherein the end wall is attached to the handle via the inner structure and the end wall extends away from the outer wall. The handle may have a longitudinal axis along which the outer wall extends; the end wall may extend away from the outer wall towards the longitudinal axis. The end wall may extend from the outer wall towards the longitudinal axis as the end wall extends away from the outer wall and may taper as it extends away from the outer wall. The end wall may be frustoconical in shape. The end wall may include at least one first attachment member that extends from the end wall to engage with one or more cooperating attachment members of the inner structure.

  • Patent number: 10174764
Abstract: Described is a fan assembly comprising a body comprising an inlet, an outlet, and means for generating an air flow. The fan assembly also comprises a nozzle mountable on the body for receiving the air flow from the body and for emitting the air flow and a nozzle retaining means for releasably retaining the nozzle on the body. The nozzle retaining means has a first configuration in which the nozzle is retained on the body and a second configuration in which the nozzle is released for removal from the body. The fan assembly also comprises a manually actuable member located on the nozzle for effecting movement of the nozzle retaining means from the first configuration to the second configuration.

  • Publication number: 20180250486
Abstract: A patient interface includes a frame assembly (16100) including connectors operatively attachable to headgear, a cushion assembly (16175) including a shell (161800) and a seal-forming structure (16200) structured to form a seal with the patient's nose and/or mouth, and an air delivery connector (16600). The cushion assembly and air delivery connector are structured to releasably connect to the frame assembly independently of each other. A static face seal and separate static diametric seal between the shell (161800) and frame (16100). A dynamic face seal and separate dynamic diametric seal between the air delivery connector (16600) and frame (16100). Separate claims (FIG. 6) to a frame assembly (16100) with upper headgear connector arms (16134) including at least one slot (6146) (claim 17) or flexible portions (claim 22) to form hinges structured and arranged to conform to varying facial profiles.

  • Publication number: 20180224727
Abstract: A long-range viewing apparatus is described, the long-range viewing apparatus arranged to provide an all-in-one solution to combining two videos streams obtained coaxially through a single imaging aperture. A long-range viewing apparatus comprising, a housing; a first camera within the housing; a second camera within the housing; and a processing element; wherein the processing element is arranged to combine images from the first and second cameras; wherein the processing element is further arranged to scale images from the first and second cameras; wherein the processing element is further arranged to crop images from the first and second cameras; characterised in that, the first camera is positioned coaxially in front of the second camera; and the housing comprises a single imaging aperture. The invention aims to achieve real-time digital foveal zoom capabilities in a physically robust, low-weight, low-complexity and small form factor assembly suitable for demanding applications.

  • Patent number: 10022504
Abstract: A pen needle (101) for use with a drug delivery device (100) includes a hub body (113) having internal threads (216) to receive the drug delivery device (100). A post (121) is connected to the hub body (113). A needle (103) is rigidly fixed to the post (121). The post (121) is separable from the hub body (113) such that the needle (103) is removed with the post (121). The fluid path is not disturbed by such removal because the entire needle (103) is removed with the post (121). Removal of only the post (121) and needle (103) reduces the volume of waste required for disposal, thereby increasing the effective capacity of a sharps container.
