  • Publication number: 20220379002
Abstract: Embodiments of negative pressure wound therapy systems, apparatuses, and methods for operating the systems and apparatuses are disclosed. In some embodiments, the apparatus includes a negative pressure source, a connector port, at least one switch, and a controller. The negative pressure source is connected through the connector port to either (i) a wound dressing having a canister configured to store fluid aspirated from the wound or (ii) a wound dressing without a canister between the connector port and the wound dressing. The controller determines, based on a signal received from the at least one switch, whether the canister is positioned in the fluid flow path and adjusts one or more operational parameters of negative pressure wound therapy based on the determination. The switch is activated by the connection of either the canister or canisterless wound dressing to the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 11514381
Abstract: A method and system are provided for customizing integration flow templates. The method can include can include monitoring user interaction with a plurality of systems external to an integration system to read data changes at the external systems and identifying at least one event pair, wherein each event pair is between two external systems having a same data change event in the two external systems. The identified event pairs are filtered for inclusion in an events chain and the external systems of the filtered event pairs are ordered in the events chain based on timestamps of the data change events. The method outputs integration flow templates based on the ordered external systems of the event pairs that define a flow trigger and at least one flow node.

  • Publication number: 20220361291
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to an apparatus that includes a moveable gripper element including a flexible inner sleeve. A mechanical energy source mechanism is communicatively coupled to the moveable gripper element, and a sensor network is communicatively coupled to the moveable gripper. A controller is communicatively coupled to the mechanical energy source mechanism and the sensor network. The flexible inner sleeve defines an adjustable opening. The controller controls the mechanical energy source mechanism to transfer to the moveable gripper element a gripping force configured to move the moveable outer sleeve, reduce a size of the adjustable opening, and bring the flexible inner sleeve into an initial level of thermal contact with a container positioned within the adjustable opening. The controller is configured to, subsequent to establishing the initial level of thermal contact, control the mechanical energy source mechanism to make adjustments to the gripping force.

  • Publication number: 20220316397
Abstract: Accelerators, methods of manufacturing accelerators, and gas turbine engines are provided. For example, an accelerator for a gas turbine engine defines a radial direction and an axial direction and comprises an annular outer wall, an annular inner wall, an annular channel defined between the outer and inner walls, and a plurality of vanes disposed within the channel. The channel has an inlet for ingress of a cooling fluid and an outlet for egress of the cooling fluid. Each vane extends from the outer wall to the inner wall adjacent the outlet, which is angled such that an exit angle of the cooling fluid is nonzero with respect to both the radial and axial directions. The accelerator may be manufactured using an additive manufacturing method. The accelerator outlet may be disposed immediately upstream of a first turbine rotor blade stage of a gas turbine engine to direct the cooling fluid thereto.

  • Patent number: 11447851
Abstract: New 6xxx aluminum alloy sheet products and methods of making the same are disclosed. The new methods may include preparing a 6xxx aluminum alloy sheet product for solution heat treatment, solution heat treating and then quenching the 6xxx aluminum alloy sheet product, and then exposing the 6xxx aluminum alloy sheet product to a treatment temperature of from 30° C. to 60° C. for 0.2 to 300 seconds. After the exposing step, the 6xxx aluminum alloy sheet product may be coiled and then placed in an ambient environment. Due to the post-quench heating and subsequent exposure to ambient, a preselected amount of Newtonian cooling may be induced, thereby creating a unique and consistent microstructure within the 6xxx aluminum alloy sheet products.

  • Publication number: 20220245976
Abstract: Vehicular data is blockchain recorded for immutable storage. Any vehicle (e.g., a car, truck, bus, marine, construction) may generate the telemetry data, the diagnostic data (e.g., OBDII), maintenance data, and the vehicular data. The blocks of data and/or the blockchain may be locally generated by the vehicle and recorded to the blockchain by a hardware processor (such as an engine controller, a chassis controller, or other electronic control module). Additionally or alternatively, the telemetry data, the diagnostic data, maintenance data, and the vehicular data may be wirelessly transmitted from the vehicle (via a network interface to a communications network) for routing to a network destination (such as a server or blockchain peer node) that records the corresponding data to blocks of data within the blockchain. The telemetry data, the diagnostic data, maintenance data, and any other vehicular data is timestamped and immutably recorded for analysis, for verification, and for marketing/sales opportunities.
