Abstract: Provided herein are methods for generating a non-naturally occurring, broadly reactive, pan-epitopic antigen derived from a pathogen, such as a virus, bacterium, and the like, that is immunogenic and is capable of eliciting a broadly reactive immune response, such as a broadly reactive neutralizing antibody response, against the pathogen following introduction into a subject. Also provided is a non-naturally occurring immunogen generated using the methods, and vaccines and compositions comprising the immunogen. Methods of generating an immune response in a subject by administering the immunogen, vaccine, or composition are provided. • Publication number: 20210319550
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-storage media, for a lighting controller for sea lice detection. In some implementations, fish are contained within an elliptical tank filled with water. An imaging station located on the elliptical tank is used to capture an image of a fish from which image analysis can be performed to detect sea lice or other skin features, including lesions, on the fish. Pairs of imaging assemblies coordinate pulsing light of at least a first and a second color and capturing images of the fish while the fish is illuminated by at least the first and the second color. By using the captured images with different color light, computers can detect features on the body of a fish including sea lice, skin lesions, shortened operculum or other physical deformities and skin features. Detection results can aid in mitigation techniques or be stored for analytics.

  • Patent number: 11074122
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method detect an error in an application comprising a component having a control that is displayed in a first state on a display device. Responsive to the detecting of the error, the method comprises associating the error with the control, and, upon making this association, the method comprises automatically modifying the component at application run-time. This modification indicates that the control is no longer functional. A display operation of the component is performed where the modified component has: a) the control displayed in a second state on the component, or b) the control is removed from the component. The method may be repeated when other errors occur, and the control may be restored when the underlying error is resolved.
