    Abstract: A method for operating a speed control system of a vehicle is provided. The method comprises identifying a torque required to achieve a desired operating parameter of the vehicle. The method further assessing whether the required torque exceeds a predetermined torque limit, and when it does, determining if it is appropriate to increase the torque limit. When it is determined that it is appropriate to do so, the method further comprises increasing the predetermined torque limit. A speed control system of a vehicle comprising an electronic control unit configured to: determine a torque required to achieve a desired operating parameter of the vehicle, assess whether the required torque exceeds a predetermined torque limit; when the torque exceeds the torque limit, determine if it is appropriate to increase the torque limit; and when it is determined that it is appropriate to do so, increase the torque limit, is also provided.

The method identifies a target link to a second web page from one or more links contained within a first web page. Prior to receiving a user selection of the target link, the method prefetches content from the second web page and loads the prefetched content from the second web page into a safe cache on the client computing device before receiving the user selection of the target link. The method scans the prefetched content from the second web page for a security threat, within the safe cache, wherein the safe cache is configured to prevent the prefetched content from altering a memory location or storage location external to the safe cache. In response to identifying a security threat within the prefetched content, the method displays a warning to the user.

    Abstract: An overflow risk mitigation system for a large aboveground liquid storage tank includes a conduit mounted to an outside of the storage tank and extending from an overflow release port disposed in an upper portion of the storage tank to a lower portion of the storage tank. The conduit is closed and channels liquid overflow from the tank to a ground level while minimizing the production of mist or aerosol. The conduit can extend substantially vertically downward from the overflow release port, can have a cross sectional area substantially larger than that of the overflow release port and that expands downwardly from the release port, and can include a diffusive media at an outlet thereof. The overflow release port may be one of a plurality of release ports disposed at a same elevation around a periphery of the tank to allow for flow of liquid exceeding a maximum storage level.

    Abstract: A system and device for threading fishing line through guides mounted on a fishing rod is disclosed, along with a method for using the system or device. A shaft is supported between paired gates. The shaft has a back end to attach to a fishing line. A carrier assembly is configured to hold the paired gates, and to permit mounted guides to pass between open paired gates while being threaded with the fishing line by the shaft, as the shaft is being fixedly retained between other paired gates. A funneling channel of an end cap module is attached to the carrier assembly near the front end of the shaft. While passing the carrier assembly over each of the mounted guides, the funneling channel funnels each of the mounted guides to encircle the front end of the shaft, thereby threading the mounted guides with fishing line.
