  • Patent number: 11423157
Abstract: An adversarial reinforcement learning system is used to simulate a security checkpoint. The system includes a simulation engine configured to simulate a security checkpoint and various threat objects and threat-mitigation objects therein. The system further includes an attack model configured to control threat objects in the simulation and a defense model configured to control threat-mitigation objects in the simulation. A first portion of the simulation is executed by the simulation engine in order to generate an outcome of the first portion of the simulation. The defense model then generates a threat-mitigation input to control threat-mitigation objects in a subsequent portion of the simulation, and the attack model then generates a threat input to control threat objects in the subsequent portion of the simulation, wherein the inputs are based in part on the outcome of the first portion of the simulation.

  • Patent number: 11306735
Abstract: A turbine nozzle includes an airfoil shape. The airfoil shape may have a nominal profile substantially in accordance with Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z set forth in Table I. The Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z are non-dimensional values from 0% to 100% convertible to dimensional distances in inches by multiplying the Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z by a height of the airfoil in inches. The X and Y values, when connected by smooth continuing arcs, define airfoil profile sections at each distance Z. The airfoil profile sections at Z distances may be joined smoothly with one another to form a complete airfoil shape.

  • Publication number: 20220032197
Abstract: Generating and validating a subscription key based on subscription parameters associated with a jurisdiction file stored in a NVRAM, the subscription key having characters based on a subscription start date, a subscription term, a key generation date, and a cyclical redundancy check value. Parameters are extracted from the subscription key including the subscription start date, the subscription term, the key generation date, and the cyclical redundancy check value and are stored in a memory of the gaming machine. The key is checked by generating a local cyclical redundancy check value based on a MAC address of the gaming machine and one or more of the extracted parameters, and is validated when the local cyclical redundancy check value matches the cyclical redundancy check value extracted from the subscription key. The jurisdiction file may be updated during a RAM clear function during installation of the gaming machine.

  • Patent number: 10887400
Abstract: A client device may be used to initiate or answer calls using a host device connected to a network. For example, when a phone operating as a host device receives an incoming call from a network, the phone may communicate the presence of the incoming call to one or more client devices such as laptop, desktop, tablet, or wearable devices that are associated with the host device. When an answer call selection is made at a client, a call answered communication may be sent from the client device to the host device. The host device may then communicate with the network to connect the call to the host, and when the call is connected, the host may hand-off the call to the client that sent the call answered communication.

  • Patent number: 10872259
Abstract: Implementations generally relate to producing a still image from a video or series of continuous frames. In some implementations, a method includes receiving the frames that a capture device shot while moving in at least two dimensions. The method further includes analyzing the frames to determine changes of positions of objects in at least two of the frames due to movement of the objects in the scene relative to changes of positions of objects due to the movement of the capture device during the shoot time. The method further includes determining, based at least in part on the variability of the objects, one or more target subjects which the capture device captures during the shoot time. One or more still images are generated from the plurality of frames having at least a portion of the target subject.

  • Patent number: 10691882
Abstract: Computer-implemented techniques for using a spreadsheet as a compute engine in an online data management system. In one embodiment, for example, a computer-implemented method comprises the operations of: automatically causing first data items of a first named range triad to be set in a first named range of a spreadsheet; after the first data items are set in the first named range, automatically causing a spreadsheet program to calculate a cell value of the spreadsheet that is derived from one or more of the first data items as set in the spreadsheet; and after the cell value is calculated, automatically obtaining second data items from a second named range of the spreadsheet, the second data items including the cell value calculated. By doing so, quantitative models can be maintained in spreadsheets yet the data on which the models operate can be managed using an online data management system.

  • Publication number: 20200054520
Abstract: Resuscitation and ventilation monitoring devices are provided. A device includes an inlet in fluid communication with airflows exchanged with lungs of a patient and an airflow meter for measuring characteristics of the airflows. A user may provide a controller with patient information, e.g., height, weight, gender, or age, via a measurement selector, enabling the controller to determine acceptable ranges of measured airflow characteristics. The device may determine a current mode of ventilation and associated ventilator settings based on the measured airflow characteristics. The device may also identify and filter out artifacts present in the ventilation signal, and determine whether a respiratory failure phenotype is present in the ventilation. If the current mode of ventilation and associated ventilator settings fall outside an acceptable range, the ventilation is classified as off-target and the controller may cause a sensory alarm to alert the user.

Abstract: A turbine blade includes an airfoil having a tip shroud. The tip shroud has an edge, and the edge has a profile substantially in accordance with values of X and Y in a Cartesian coordinate system set forth in Table 1 at points 1-30. The X and Y values represent distances that may be proportionally scaled by a common multiplier which, once scaled and connected, define the profile of the edge of the tip shroud. The profile of the edge lies in an envelope within +/?20%, +/?10% or +/?0% in a direction normal to any location along the edge set forth by the points in Table 1.
