  • Publication number: 20160117852
Abstract: A piece of artwork defined using a vector image format can be customized by the consumer. The consumer can select patterns to be applied to the shapes of the artwork as well as manipulate the appearance of the patterns once applied to the shapes. The manipulations can include translation, rotation, scaling, and inversion of the patterns. The manipulations that a consumer makes can be recorded so that they can be reapplied to a version of the artwork having a desired size. Multiple shapes can be grouped to facilitate applying and manipulating a pattern consistently across the grouped shapes. Relative values for manipulations can be generated to facilitate applying the manipulations consistently across versions of the artwork that have different aspect ratios.

  • Publication number: 20150247135
Abstract: Chimeric ErbB ligand binding molecules having detectable binding activity for more ErbB ligands than any one of native ErbB1, ErbB3 or ErbB4 are disclosed. Preferably, the binding molecules bind a broad spectrum and, more preferably, the full spectrum of ErbB ligands. The chimeric ErbB ligand binding molecules generally have a subunit LI derived from one of Erb-B1, 3, or 4 and a subunit LII derived from another distinct ErbB receptor type. The sub-domain, SI, which joins LI and LII can be from either one of the receptor types or can have portions from both. Pharmaceutical compositions that contain the molecules and methods for the treatment of ErbB sensitive diseases are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20140222238
Abstract: Data comprising a request specifying a desired change in electrical load for a defined period of time is received. The electrical load is associated with a plurality of resources under control of resource agents and on a utility grid. Available capacity of resources within the control of each resource agent over the defined period of time is determined. Each available capacity is determined at least using a resource load model. Using the determined available capacity of resources over the defined period of time, resource scheduling instructions are calculated for a subset of resources. The resource scheduling instructions satisfy the desired change in electrical load of the request. Data characterizing the resource scheduling instructions is provided. Related systems, apparatus, methods, and articles are also described.
