  • Patent number: 11787700
Abstract: A method for forming an insoluble adduct using an acidic medium is provided. A chemical process utilizes acidic media to change the solubility behavior of metal solutes. The method can utilize Group 1 soluble alkali metals but can also be extended to any other soluble salts discussed under the solubility rules. The insoluble salts can be Group 2 alkaline earth metals or other insoluble salts. The insoluble adduct can have the designation XYZ where X is a soluble metal from a metal hydroxide or a metal oxide, Y is an insoluble metal from an insoluble metal hydroxide or an insoluble metal oxide, and Z is the acid ion from an aqueous acidic media.

  • Patent number: 11792441
Abstract: A computing system automatically detects, within a digital video frame, a video frame region that depicts a textual expression of a scoreboard. The computing system (a) engages in an edge-detection process to detect edges of at least scoreboard image elements depicted by the digital video frame, with at least some of these edges being of the textual expression and defining alphanumeric shapes; (b) applies pattern-recognition to identify the alphanumeric shapes; (c) establishes a plurality of minimum bounding rectangles each bounding a respective one of the identified alphanumeric shapes; (d) establishes, based on at least two of the minimum bounding rectangles, a composite shape that encompasses the identified alphanumeric shapes that were bounded by the at least two minimum bounding rectangles; and (e) based on the composite shape occupying a particular region, deems the particular region to be the video frame region that depicts the textual expression.

  • Publication number: 20230315607
Abstract: One example method includes accessing input data elements from logs that identify user problems with computing system components, the data elements each associated with a respective original class label that identifies a class of computing system components to which the data element relates, the respective original class labels forming a group of class labels, and a first of the original class labels is overrepresented in the group, and reducing overrepresentation of the first original class label in the group by creating an arbitrary aggregation of some of the class labels that includes the first original class label. The method includes creating, based on a hierarchical modeling structure, prepared data in which an original class label is replaced by the aggregation. Next a hierarchical model and benchmark model are trained, and each model generates respective predictions for comparison. An inferencing process is performed to determine which predicted label will be used.

  • Publication number: 20230297961
Abstract: Various embodiments discussed herein are directed to improving existing technologies by enabling users to share content items directly from an operating system component, with little to no user interface input requirements at the underlying communications application. For instance, some embodiments receive an indication that a mouse pointer is hovering over an operating system taskbar icon and automatically produce a flyout window so that a user can share a currently opened application page to other users via a selection of a button within the flyout window. Such application page may be shared via a single selection at the flyout window or an additional “are you sure” or confirmation step. In this way, excessive drilling, navigation, and other user input at the application is reduced and simplified, thereby improving the user experience, content sharing accuracy, and computer resource consumption, among other improvements.

  • Patent number: 11760496
Abstract: Electromagnetic gyroscopic stabilizing propulsion system method and apparatus is an electric gyroscope that creates magnetic fields used to rotate its flywheel. The rotation of its flywheel creates both a gyroscopic effect and thrust with airfoil shaped spokes. The invention attaches to an airframe through an articulating joint that causes the axle of the gyroscope to precess in a vertical orientation regardless of the movements/angle of the airframe. The gyroscope's thrust aligns itself with the axle of the gyroscope. The net effect is that the invention has tremendous efficiency, no external drive because it is also a motor, tremendous power from magnetic leverage of the flywheel, and stability because of the gyroscopic effect.
