  • Patent number: 10078228
Abstract: A three-dimensional imaging system relies on effective native image resolution reduction in order to provide an array of pixel clusters, or voxels, with each pixel of the voxel representing a pixel of the image from a unique viewing angle. A 16-megapixel screen having 16-pixel voxels results in a screen having an image capacity downgraded to a 1-megapixel screen capable of showing sixteen different viewing angles. The system can be set up as a rear-projection screen or as a reflective screen illuminated by a front projector. The invention is best implemented with projectors and screens that represent all colors at a single physical location, such as a 3-panel LCD color-combinant projector or a DLP projector, either single or triple chip type. When the RGB sub-pixels are non-coincident, the viewers will see color artifacts that detract from the viewing experience.

  • Publication number: 20180182169
Abstract: A marker is provided for use in an augmented reality (AR) environment. The marker includes a trackable marker template and a content identification block. The trackable marker template may contain heterogeneous graphical content. The trackable marker template may form the border of the marker and encompass the content identification block. The content identification block may hold an encoding of an identifier for some content. The identifier may be used to retrieve content and display a virtual object in the AR environment.

  • Publication number: 20180137442
Abstract: A system and method for searching travel services. A server computer receives a travel request from a client device operated by a user. The server computer identifies travel options according to the travel request. The server computer classifies the travel options into predefined groups, the classifying based on at least one of past transactions, input from domain experts, input from semantic analysts, analytics data, user preferences, and company policies. The server computer presents the options via presentation of the predefined groups.

  • Patent number: 9739064
Abstract: A drainage system, comprising a collector which is arranged to collect liquid and a drainage pipe having a pipe inlet that opens into the collector such that liquid collected by the collector drains through the pipe inlet. The drainage pipe is provided with a vent spaced away from the pipe inlet. The vent is arranged such that, when liquid collected by the collector occludes the pipe inlet, liquid flowing through the drainage pipe draws air into the drainage pipe through the vent.

  • Publication number: 20160019349
Abstract: In an embodiment, a computer-implemented method integrates a healthcare provider with a medical lab. In the method, the EHR system validates the medical lab to ensure that the medical lab is able to communicate with the EHR system in a format the EHR system understands. After the EHR system validates the medical lab, the EHR system receives, from the healthcare provider, a lab sign up request for connecting the healthcare provider to the medical lab. In response to receipt of the lab sign up request from the healthcare provider, the EHR system binds the healthcare provider and the medical lab via the EHR system. Then, the healthcare provider can order a lab test for a patient of the healthcare provider to the medical lab.
