The system generates for display, by a messaging application, a plurality of shortcut options, each of the plurality of shortcut options comprising a respective filtering criterion. In response to receiving input that selects a given shortcut option of the plurality of shortcut options, the system retrieves the filtering criterion associated with the given shortcut option. The system searches a plurality of conversations to identify a subset of conversations that match the filtering criterion. The system generates for display together with the plurality of shortcut options, a plurality of representations of the identified subset of conversations in which one or more messages have been exchanged between a user and one or more friends of the user.

Abstract: Examples provide estimated sector-specific transaction data with enhanced reliability using sector-specific data set(s) where validation data for the specific sector is unavailable. A regression analysis is used to generate one or more regression coefficient(s) using the validation data and data set(s) for one or more other sectors within a geographic area during a selected time-period. The regression coefficient(s) are applied to biased data sets for which validation data is unavailable to generate de-biased transaction data for the selected sector. The system produces sector-specific data with enhanced reliability and greater accuracy while reducing system resource usage where validation data for the selected sector is not available.

Abstract: Methods of treating tumors by administering compounds to a patient are provided. Compounds such as drugs, may be administered to the patient orally, by injection, intravenously, or topically, which then accumulate as compounds such as a protoporphyrin compound in tumor cells. After such accumulation, such compounds are then activated in various aspects to treat tumors cells, thereby treating cancer. Cancers such as glioblastoma may be treated.

Abstract: Ultrasound transducer element arrays using acoustic ensonification drive patterns via a patient interface for sonosensitizer activation in sonodynamic therapy. Incoherent acoustic field generation varying phase, frequencies, and/or amplitude via controlled delivery of low intensity planar acoustic waves. Method includes generating a first and a second signal to generate respective acoustic ensonification drive patterns with phase, frequency, and amplitude and generating at least one relative phase, frequency or amplitude difference to generate a third incoherent acoustic ensonification pattern to activate a sonosensitizer. Calibration and complementary therapy procedures to improve cell susceptibility of cells to sonodynamic therapy are disclosed.

Abstract: This invention enables targeting, personalized measurement, and management of cognitive skills development by users, clinicians, teachers, and parents. The invention features a game based virtual learning curriculum for targeting and developing the underlying cognitive skills of executive functions. The methods and systems of the invention provide an effective and rapid video game-based training curriculum to improve the cognitive skills such as focused attention, sustained attention, cognitive inhibition, behavioral inhibition, selective attention, alternating attention, divided attention, interference control, novelty inhibition, delay of gratification, inner voice, motivational inhibition, and self-regulation. This curriculum utilizes: (i) each of the cognitive processes that underlie attention control and impulse inhibition; (ii) the identification of measurable and trainable cognitive skills; and (iii) game design and game mechanics that effectively train and enable retention of those skills.

Abstract: A method implemented by a software for a multimodal evaluation engine stored on a memory is provided herein. The software is executable by a processor coupled to the memory to cause the method. The method includes receiving multimodal signatures of an object of interest from inspection elements and processing the multimodal signatures to transform the multimodal signatures into formats. The method also includes generating data representations of the formats and detecting whether anomalies are present within the object of interest based on the data representations.

Abstract: A knowledge graph that relates experiments, factors, results, and scientists to provide users with new insights and new opportunities for collaboration. This system includes a plurality of representative experiment groups that each include their own context data and result data. The system may accept a new experiment data set comprising new context data and new result data. This new experiment data set may then be compared with the data from the plurality of representative experiment groups to generate similarity scores. These similarity scores may be used to determine what relationships to create between the current data and other pre-existing data. Grouping the new experiment data set may generate connections between related experiments and data, as well as spark collaboration between scientists doing similar experiments.

Abstract: A content collection is created by a user and comprises a set of content items. In some examples of the present disclosure, a system determines a subtext trigger that is associated with the content collection and associated with a proposed action for a viewer. The subtext trigger is distinct from main content in the set of content items. The system generates context data representing the subtext trigger. The system further generates a first user interface element for the content collection. The first user interface element comprises the context data and is actionable to cause presentation of the set of content items on a device of the viewer. In response to determining that the content collection was previously accessed by the viewer, the system generates a second user interface element for the content collection. The second user interface element is actionable to invoke the proposed action for the viewer.

More specifically but without limitation, present embodiments relate to a modular firearm, for example semi-automatic rifle, with various modules that provide differing functions to a semi-automatic or automatic rifle. Some of the functions include, but are not limited to, connector for ambidextrous stock folding, interchangeable magwell for changing of firearm caliber, a barrel module with evacuation chamber, and ambidextrous charging handle.

Abstract: A temperature sensor has a heat-sensitive element contained within a chamber, the heat-sensitive element changing from a first configuration to a second configuration at a predetermined temperature, and a biased member biased towards the chamber. The biased member initially is prevented from entering the chamber when the heat-sensitive element is in the first configuration and enters the chamber when the heat-sensitive element is in the second configuration. In some aspects, the first configuration is solid and the second configuration is liquid and a selectively permeable element is provided to allow the heat-sensitive element to exit the chamber in the liquid configuration. An indicator can be provided that has a plurality of feet initially held in a retained configuration by the biased member until the biased member enters the chamber to release the feet for sliding motion of the indicator.
