    Abstract: Provided are a method and a device for real-time monitoring of tunnel deformation. The monitoring method includes: S1, erecting a plurality of structured light sources in an unstable area to be monitored of a tunnel structure, and erecting a monitoring terminal in a relatively stable region of the tunnel structure, where the monitoring terminal may communicate with the plurality of structured light sources; S2, observing all structured lights in the unstable area of the tunnel structure and obtaining structured light curves in real time by the monitoring terminal; S3, analyzing imaging changes of the structured lights, detecting deformation degrees and offset distances of the tunnel in real time, and monitoring the diseases such as settlement, convergence of a single-section of the tunnel and integral settlement of a multi-section of the tunnel by the data processing unit.

The system can generate extrapolated UV intensity data based on measured UV intensity data to correct unreliable UV measurement due to inconsistent irradiation of UV light. The system integrates the extrapolated UV intensity data over time to calculate real-time UV dosage and vitamin D production by taking into account factors including UV sensor location, body surface area, clothing coverage, and sunscreen usage. Based on the measurement, the system can predict the time remaining to skin burn and the time remaining to reach daily goal of vitamin D production. The system is also adapted to measure sun exposure time based on the corrected UV intensity over a period of time. The UV dosimetry system supports multi-user control through an advanced and user friendly input and output interface.

    Abstract: An electronic device tracks both calorie loss and intake for a user. The device comprises a plurality of sensors to measure user's physical activities, and provides a user interface to allow user input of activities. The device tracks these activities and estimates the calorie burned based on predefined formulas. Also through the user interface, the device allows user to input information about food or drink consumption, and then estimates the corresponding calorie intake. User input of activities and food/drink consumption can be achieved by means of voice. The electronic device also runs a software app which can provide instructions for the user with regards to activities and/or food/drink consumption. In addition, the app allows user to enter weight, together with the tracked calorie intake and loss history data, to adaptively adjust the calorie calculation formulas and the associated parameters.
