  • Patent number: 10315634
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for adapting a control strategy of a slip-control system of a brake system of a vehicle in a ?-split situation, in which different wheel-specific brake pressures, are set at opposite wheels of a vehicle axle. The resulting brake pressure difference is limited. In some examples, to generate a brake pressure request, a maximum pressure difference value deviating from a reference pressure difference with a predefined tolerance value is determined on a wheel-specific basis for the wheels lying opposite one another. The reference pressure difference corresponds to the value of the current low-pass-filtered brake pressure difference, and the brake pressure request for each wheel is determined as a minimum of the wheel-specific brake pressure determined from the control strategy of the slip-control system, and from the sum of the average brake pressure of the wheel lying opposite and the wheel-specific maximum pressure difference value.

  • Patent number: 10293797
Abstract: A method for avoiding false excitations of a slip control system comprises monitoring of a wheel speed signal for a predefined first monitoring time period for the start of a negative half-wave of an oscillation applied to a vehicle wheel, when a brake pressure gradient initiated by a brake start rises above a predetermined threshold. A ruck signal is derived from the wheel speed signal. An acceration signal is derived from the wheel speed signal during a predetermined second monitoring period. The wheel speed signal is monitored for a turning point of the ruck signal and a start of the acceleration signal. The oscillation imposed on the vehicle wheel is identified as a braking-induced vibration, and slip control is not carried out when the turning point of the ruck signal and the re-acceleration of the wheel are detected.

  • Patent number: 9545023
Abstract: A cabinet for housing electronic plug-in cards has front and rear card baskets for inserting plug-in cards and first and second vertical backplanes. The front side of the first backplane faces the front of the cabinet and the front side of the second backplane faces the back of the cabinet. A distance piece connects the two backplanes and a counterbore is disposed in at least one of the rear sides of the two backplanes. The depth of the counterbore or the residual thicknesses of the backplane after drilling the counterbore is sized such that the distance between the front side of the second backplane and the front of the cabinet is a predetermined value. This ensures that the plug-in cards pushed onto the second backplane are completely received inside the rear card basket and the front plate of the plug-in cards ends flush with the rear card basket.

  • Publication number: 20150150432
Abstract: A domestic appliance includes a door configured to pivot about a horizontal axis of rotation so as to assume a substantially vertical position when closed to thereby close a treatment chamber. The axis of rotation is arranged behind a center of gravity of the door in a depthwise direction of the domestic appliance. When closed, the door is locked by a locking arrangement. A door weight compensation system damps an opening movement and/or assists a closing movement of the door and is configured to enable the door in an unlocked state to assume a partially open position, in which the door is open to some degree, substantially as a result of a weight-induced force exerted by the door.

  • Patent number: 8620556
Abstract: A correction method in which characteristic curves and/or correction values are produced, by way of which the drive current for one or more electrically activated hydraulic values operated in an analog fashion is measured during a pressure regulation in such a way that, during the operation of an anti-lock regulation, one or a respective characteristic curve is first prescribed and then the prescribed characteristic curve is corrected, particularly in a learning process, wherein, after a pressure build-up phase, the current pressure model value (Pmod) is compared to and/or analyzed using a model locking pressure level (Pmax).

  • Patent number: 8453799
Abstract: An actuator for a speed governor of an elevator system includes a governor wheel equipped with at least two flyweights. The governor wheel can be driven by a governor cable looped around it. An actuator wheel is stationary in a basic position. A coupler engages the actuator wheel when the governor wheel attains an actuation speed and thus couples with the governor wheel so that the actuator wheel is caused to rotate. An elastic material, preferably transmitting a high degree of friction, is provided between the coupler and the actuator wheel. The actuator wheel has a lining or tire of the elastic material and/or the coupler is equipped with the elastic material.

  • Patent number: 8205948
Abstract: A method of determining an initial pressure prevailing between a master brake cylinder and an inlet valve of a wheel brake cylinder of a motor vehicle determines the initial pressure taking into consideration the variation of a voltage of a PWMoperated motor of a pump, which is used for the return delivery of brake fluid from a low-pressure accumulator into the master brake cylinder. Several characteristic quantities of the voltage variation are measured and converted to respective initial pressure values. The characteristic quantities or the initial pressure values determined therefrom are filtered or conditioned in the event of lack in quality or reliability of the measured characteristic quantities. The respective initial pressure values of similar size are averaged, and the averaged initial pressure values are temporally averaged in order to dampen fluctuations.
