  • Patent number: 8742792
Abstract: Switching circuits, latches and methods are provided, such as those that may respond to an input signal that transitions from a first binary level to a second binary level. One such switching circuit may have a metastable state that is closer to a first voltage corresponding to the first binary level than it is to a second voltage corresponding to the second binary level. In other embodiments, the metastable state may be dynamically adjustable so that it is at one voltage before the circuit switches and at a different voltage after the circuit switches. As a result, the switching circuit may respond relatively quickly to the input signal transitioning from the first binary level to the second binary level.

  • Publication number: 20140121732
Abstract: Methods are disclosed for administering electromagnetic radiation (EMR), which may include filtering EMR from part of the EMR spectrum while allowing passage of EMR at a desired wavelength range. Uses may include the treatment of such conditions as psoriasis, vitiligo, pruritus, acne, vitamin-D deficiency and atopic dermatitis. Topical creams, sprays, or other compositions may be used, with or without dosimeters, or in conjunction with an application, which calculates local UV exposure and other factors relating to dosage.

  • Publication number: 20130310730
Abstract: Methods are disclosed for administering electromagnetic radiation (EMR), which may include filtering EMR from part of the EMR spectrum while allowing passage of EMR at a desired wavelength. A fluorescent component may be included, which absorbs EMR at one wavelength and emits EMR at the desired wavelength. Uses may include the treatment of acne. Pruritus may also be treated by allowing the passage to the skin of a particular UV wavelength from sunlight, which has an immunosuppressive effect, while protecting the skin from other harmful UV radiation.
