  • Publication number: 20250258445
Abstract: A photolithography machine with an alignment system is described. The photolithography machine can identify a fiducial pattern provided on a substrate and use the location of the fiducial pattern to align the substrate before exposure. The fiducial pattern can include a plurality of fiducial markings arranged in a specified pattern. A model matching technique can be applied to match the respective individual fiducial markings. A shaping technique can then be used to identify the fiducial pattern based on the matched fiducial markings.

  • Publication number: 20250255627
Abstract: A method of treating an appendage using acoustic shock waves includes: providing an appendage in need of an acoustic shock wave treatment; placing an acoustic shock wave applicator on a surface of the appendage; placing a gaseous filled membrane on an opposite surface of the appendage; activating an acoustic shock wave generator or source to emit acoustic shock waves from an acoustic shock wave applicator; and wherein the acoustic shock waves are transmitted from the acoustic shock wave applicator through the surface sending the emitted acoustic shock waves into the tissue of the appendage and exiting the opposite surface of the appendage to the gaseous filled membrane where a reflection of the acoustic shock waves occurs sending reflected acoustic shock waves back through the appendage. A dose of formation-mitigating treatment composition may be delivered into a region of the appendage at which a material formation (e.g., collagen-containing plague) is located.

  • Publication number: 20250255654
Abstract: A trochanteric nailing system makes use of a lag screw operatively connectable to a trochanteric nail. The lag screw has a helical thread disposed over a suitable surgical length on the outer surface of the shaft of the lag screw. The helical thread includes undercuts formed therein to improve resistance to cutout or lag screw migration. The lag screw may also include a variable-width thread to improve fixation and resistance to migration or cut out. Helical flutes reduce torque forces exerted on bone during insertion, while maintaining the improved fixation of other features about the entire circumference of the lag screw. The lag screw may also be equipped with tapered set screw grooves which engaging opposing portions of a set screw of the trochanteric nail when received therein to resist migration or cutout.

  • Publication number: 20250255231
Abstract: A mobile irrigation alignment system comprising a base mounted on a first span, a linkage system, and a control box. The linkage system includes a driven arm, drive arm, and control arm. The driven arm is pivotably connected to the base about a vertical axis. The drive arm is pivotably connected to the driven arm about a horizontal axis and includes a distal end configured to rest on an adjacent span. The control arm is linked to the driven arm. The control box determines lateral alignment between the spans based on the control arm as governed by the drive arm and driven arm. The drive arm is configured to retain an upright orientation relative to the driven arm regardless of torsional rotation between the spans so that the position of the control arm and hence the lateral alignment determination is not affected by the torsional rotation between the spans.
