  • Publication number: 20250258822
Abstract: Techniques are described herein for probabilistic monitoring of high-frequency, low-latency database queries. In some embodiments, a probabilistic query monitoring system periodically samples active database sessions. For example, the system may generate sample data every one second or at some other sampling rate for each database session that is currently active. The sample data may include a mapping between query identifiers to sample counter values that are extracted at different sample intervals. The system may then estimate performance metrics for the set of active database based on the counter values sampled across consecutive sample intervals.

  • Publication number: 20250257432
Abstract: Disclosed are exemplary methods for rheologically controlling a metal amalgam by including non-refractory filler particles (e.g., non-refractory metal filler particles, etc.) for processing and reliability enhancement as a thermal interface material. An exemplary method may comprise rheologically controlling a metal amalgam including filler particles (e.g., non-refractory metal filler particles, etc.) for use as a thermal interface material without sacrificing thermal conductivity and while maintaining rheology and spread control (e.g., limiting or preventing material migration, etc.) when pressed between two substrates. An exemplary method may comprise using non-refractory (not corrosive resistant) filler particles (e.g., non-refractory metal filler particles, etc.) to achieve a stable homogenous metal amalgam suspension with viscosity control based on total filler particle loading without sacrificing thermal performance for thermal interface material applications.

  • Publication number: 20250259640
Abstract: Implementations of the subject technology provide systems and methods for providing audio source separation for audio input, such as for audio devices having limited power and/or computing resources. The subject technology may allow an audio device to leverage processing and/or power resources of a companion device that is communicatively coupled to the audio device. The companion device may identify a noise condition of the audio device, select a source separation model based on the noise condition, and provide the source separation model to the audio device. In this way, the audio device can provide audio source separation functionality using a relatively small footprint source separation model that is specific to the noise condition in which the audio device is operated.

  • Publication number: 20250255913
Abstract: The present invention provides genetically modified fungi, such as non-hallucinogenic psychedelic fungi, in which a biochemical pathway to produce a bioactive alkaloid is disrupted. In some aspects, the psilocybin biosynthesis pathway is disrupted, resulting in non-hallucinogenic psychedelic fungi which do not produce or contain psilocybin, or which produce or contain a substantially reduced amount of psilocybin relative to wild-type fungi. Also provided are methods of making genetically modified fungi, for example by disrupting or rebalancing a biochemical pathway therein, such as the psilocybin biosynthesis pathway, such as by using gene editing techniques, including gene inactivation by small interfering RNAs (siRNAs), microRNAs (miRNAs), and CRISPR/Cas9. Also provided are compositions of genetically modified fungi, such as compositions of non-hallucinogenic psychedelic fungi, and methods of their use, including as functional foods, nootropics, legal microdoses, nutraceuticals, and therapeutics.

  • Publication number: 20250256276
Abstract: A particle manipulation system uses a MEMS-based, microfabricated particle manipulation device which has a sample inlet channel, output channels, and a movable member formed on a substrate. The device may be used to separate a target particle from non-target material in a sample stream. In order to improve the sorter speed, accuracy or yield, the particle manipulation system may also include a microfluidic structure which focuses the target particles in a particular portion of the sample inlet channel. The multiple outputs may be implemented using structures outside of, and in addition to, the microfabricated sorter. These may include pneumatic valves, which may transfer the contents of one fluid receptacle to another. This may enable simple and inexpensive serial sorting.

  • Publication number: 20250258092
Abstract: A non-dispersive near infrared light is used for detecting analyte gases in a testing zone. A sample obtained from the testing zone is irradiated with a reference light and with test lights. The test lights are emitted in sequence and modulated to be out of phase with the reference light. Frequencies of the test lights are in the absorption bands of particular analyte gases, with the reference light frequency being outside of the absorption bands. Analyte presence in the sample is identified by sensing changes in differences over time of test light and reference light intensity. Before irradiating the sample, the lights are optically conditioned by aligning them on the same path, and splitting the bandwidth of some lights for detecting analytes with overlapping absorption bands.

  • Publication number: 20250259619
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for audio pipelines between a user and a machine learning (ML) model. The method involves obtaining digital audio data associated with an audio signal from a user's equipment. This data is then analyzed using a trained ML model, which includes one or more neural networks. The ML model determines an indication related to the digital audio data, which can be a prediction of the ending of one or more portions of the data, an intention behind the data, a key term within the data, an action to take based on the data, or the context associated with the data. Based on the determined indication, a response is generated and subsequently transmitted back to the user's equipment.

  • Publication number: 20250259852
Abstract: A method for fabricating high aspect ratio nanostructures in arbitrary functional materials. An (N+1)th layer of substrate material is deposited on top of existing N layers of nanostructures, where N is a natural number. The substrate material in the (N+1)th layer is then patterned and etched to create complementary nanostructures in the substrate material. Furthermore, a conformal coating of gap-fill materials, encapsulation layers, and functional material on the complementary nanostructures is performed to create functional material nanostructures in the (N+1)th layer. A set of selective etches on the substrate material is then performed leaving behind multi-layered high aspect ratio nanostructures in the functional material.
