  • Publication number: 20170319783
Abstract: An infusion device includes a housing with an interior chamber sized and configured to hold at least a flange and plunger of a syringe, a trigger held by the housing, and a lever in communication with the trigger and including an upwardly extending cam with a cam path having an upper end. The cam is in communication with the flange of the syringe. In response to actuation of the trigger to dispense fluid from the syringe, the upper end of the cam travels upward above the syringe and longitudinally toward a dispensing end of the syringe to linearly translate the plunger of the syringe in a first direction to dispense fluid from the syringe. To refill fluid into the syringe, the upper end of the cam travels downward and longitudinally away from the dispensing end of the syringe to linearly translate the plunger in a second direction to intake fluid.

  • Patent number: 9638341
Abstract: A loop flushing valve assembly for use in a hydraulic circuit has a pair of valve subassemblies cooperating with a respective valve seat between a port and an outlet passage. Each subassembly has a main port plug and a fluid passage plug with a fluid passage extending therethrough. A valve body is engaged to the fluid passage plug and is axially moveable from a closed position where its seat end is in contact with its respective valve seat to prevent fluid flow from the respective fluid side to the outlet passage to an open position and the valve body is biased to the closed position. A poppet extends out the seat end of the each valve body. When pressure in one fluid side exceeds pressure in the other side, the valve subassembly poppet axially moves towards the other poppet to open the other side.

  • Publication number: 20170008122
Abstract: Systems and processes of cutting and drilling in a target substrate uses a laser (e.g., a pulsed laser) and an optical system to generate a line focus of the laser beam within the target substrate, such as a glass substrate sheet, are provided. The laser cutting and drilling system and process creates holes or defects that, in certain embodiments, extend the full depth of the glass sheet with each individual laser pulse, and allows the laser system to cut and separate the target substrate into any desired contour by creating a series of perforations that form a contour or desired part shape. Since a glass substrate sheet is brittle, cracking will then follow the perforated contour, allowing the glass substrate sheet to separate into any required shape defined by the perforations.

  • Publication number: 20160362312
Abstract: An electrolyzing system is provided for producing higher quantities of electrolyzed waters within prescribed pH ranges for optimum usage and which can be operated for producing greater quantities of alkaline electrolyzed water than acidic electrolyzed water consistent with a users requirements. The system includes an electrolytic cartridge having cathode and anode cells each comprising a pair of electrodes disposed in laterally spaced coplanar relation to each other, with a respective ion permeable membrane in spaced relation to the pairs of electrodes. The cells are separated with a common separator plate that maintains the ion permeable membranes in parallel relation with the respective electrodes and which facilitates the communication of brine solution from a brine bath to both cells. The cells further can be operate with staggered input currents and the redirection of electrolyzed water between the cells for optimum control of pH levels of the resulting products.

  • Patent number: 9421559
Abstract: A chemical delivery system that delivers concentrated liquid chemical using a non-liquid motive fluid to deliver the concentrated liquid chemical in an undiluted form to a point of use. The concentrated chemical is delivered by the motive fluid by way of the aggressive interaction of a high-pressure jet stream of motive fluid causing a nearly complete local vacuum such that the concentrated chemical is drawn under low pressure into a jet vortex to form a chemical dispersion. Forming the chemical dispersion by way of this venturi eduction process occurs in a substantially continuous real-time manner allowing for multiple methods of controlling the total amount of chemical delivered and the rate in which it is delivered to the application device.

  • Publication number: 20160038722
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a cutting edge cutting catheter and a method for treatment of peripheral chronic total occlusion (“CTO”) in a body vessel. The cutting edge cutting catheter has an arcuate cutting edge slidably disposed within an elongate member or catheter. A tension mechanism connects to the cutting edge and applies a tension to move the cutting edge between a bent state and a straight state. An expandable balloon surrounds the elongate member to dilate the occluded body vessel and ablate the occlusion.
