  • Publication number: 20250027031
Abstract: The disclosure provides a filtration system for a cell culture apparatus and a method of cell culture. The filtration system comprises a bioreactor vessel and two or more alternating tangential flow (ATF) filters connected in parallel. A failure in either filter is detected by an in-line sensor, and an automated response system functions to sequester the malfunctioning filter by stopping the flow of liquid media through the filter. Media flow through the remaining operable filters can be increased so that the rate of perfusion through the bioreactor remains relatively unchanged. Such a system may prevent issues that arise from ATF filter failures in conventional perfusion bioreactors, thereby improving the long-term viability of cell cultures.

  • Publication number: 20250019757
Abstract: According to various embodiments described herein, a microfluidics-chip based purification device and system for Sanger-sequencing reactions is provided. The device and system allow for the introduction into a sequencing system of a cartridge containing purification technologies specific to the sequencing contaminants or sequencing method where the simplified purification solution of a cartridge allows automation of the sample purification process, reduced consumption of purification reagents, and consistency in sampling by reducing the sampling errors and artifacts. These various embodiments therefore solve the need for a microfluidics-chip-based, Sanger-sequencing reaction purification system for CE devices. The microfluidic chips described can be used as a PCR chip by reorganizing the on-chip reagents, reaction wells and work flow steps.

  • Patent number: 12105045
Abstract: Sensors are configured to capture measurement data representing dissolved oxygen (DO) measurements of an environment and capacitance measurements of a medium of the environment. A memory includes computer-executable instructions. One or more processors are communicatively coupled to the one or more sensors and configured to execute the computer-executable instructions to carry out operations comprising: generating, using first measurement data captured by the one or more sensors, a model based on a relationship between the first set of DO measurements and the first set of capacitance measurements; receiving, from the one or more sensors, second measurement data; predicting, using the model and based on the new capacitance measurement, an expected DO measurement; determining whether to use the expected DO measurement or the new DO measurement; and controlling, a valve to cause the determined oxygen input amount to flow into the environment based on the expected DO measurement.

  • Publication number: 20240068785
Abstract: A bullet-resistant panel for covering a portion of the vehicle may be movable between two positions. For example, the panel may be stored within a door in a lower position and then moved to an upper position to cover a window. An exemplary embodiment may include a mounting point, such as a sliding rail, to which the panel can be mounted to. A rail or a pair of rails may be placed along the sides of the panel to allow the panel to slide between positions. One or more of the rails may include a spring or hydraulic mechanism to facilitate movement between positions. The panel may further include a handle for a user to grasp in order to manually move the panel between positions. A locking mechanism can securely hold the panel in position.

  • Publication number: 20240046249
Abstract: A technique is directed to methods and systems for linking digital wallets on a blockchain network. The linked digital wallet system can include a user interface that is used to manage tokens. A user can store tokens, private keys, public keys, or any information in a digital wallet. A digital wallet can refer to a hot wallet and/or a cold wallet. A hot wallet is connected to the internet. To prevent a cold wallet from connecting to the internet for a transaction, a user can link a cold wallet to a hot wallet. The hot wallet can perform a transaction on behalf of the linked cold wallet. For example, a user signs a transaction with the private key of the cold wallet, but the transaction address is the address of the hot wallet.
