  • Publication number: 20240096124
Abstract: Provided are a computer program product, system, and method for pre-processing a table in a document for natural language processing (NLP). A graphical user interface (GUI) provides a representation of table items in a table in a document including a set of a main element comprising an entity whose value is to be extracted, a conditional element that refines the entity, and a value element comprising a value for the entity. Graphical controls are rendered in the GUI to enable a user to select an element from the table to be the main element, conditional element, and value element. The set of the main element, conditional element, and value element are updated with the user selected element to form a modified set. The modified set of the main element, conditional element, and the value element are provided to an NLP engine to perform natural language processing.

  • Publication number: 20240068354
Abstract: Aspects of the subject technology relate to systems and methods for identifying the quality of cement bonding of an exterior surface of a wellbore casing to an Earth formation. Methods of the present disclosure may allow for bond indexes to be identified in real-time as a cementing operation is performed even when tools that perform the cementing operation generate acoustic noise that interfere with measurements used to evaluate cement bonding quality. These methods may include transmitting acoustic signals, receiving acoustic signals, filtering the received acoustic signals, identifying magnitude and attenuation values to associate with the received acoustic signals, and comparing trends in the magnitudes with the identified attenuation values. These methods may also include correcting attenuation values associated with measured data based on a set of correction rules such that bond indexes can be identified. Such correction rules may be associated with data generated by a computer model.

  • Publication number: 20240068785
Abstract: A bullet-resistant panel for covering a portion of the vehicle may be movable between two positions. For example, the panel may be stored within a door in a lower position and then moved to an upper position to cover a window. An exemplary embodiment may include a mounting point, such as a sliding rail, to which the panel can be mounted to. A rail or a pair of rails may be placed along the sides of the panel to allow the panel to slide between positions. One or more of the rails may include a spring or hydraulic mechanism to facilitate movement between positions. The panel may further include a handle for a user to grasp in order to manually move the panel between positions. A locking mechanism can securely hold the panel in position.

  • Patent number: 11916067
Abstract: The present disclosure introduces, among other things, an electronic device, e.g. an integrated circuit (IC). The IC includes a semiconductor substrate comprising a first doped layer of a first conductivity type. A second doped layer of the first conductivity type is located within the first doped layer. The second doped layer has first and second layer portions with a greater dopant concentration than the first doped layer, with the first layer portion being spaced apart from the second layer portion laterally with respect to a surface of the substrate. The IC further includes a lightly doped portion of the first doped layer, the lightly doped portion being located between the first and second layer portions. A dielectric isolation structure is located between the first and second layer portions, and directly contacts the lightly doped portion.

  • Patent number: 11917391
Abstract: In an audio signal processing method, a processing device obtains a current position relationship between a sound source and a listener. The processing device then obtains a current audio rendering function based on the current position relationship. When the current position relationship is different from a stored previous position relationship, the processing device adjusts an initial gain of the current audio rendering function based on the current position relationship and the previous position relationship, to obtain an adjusted gain of the current audio rendering function. The processing device then obtains an adjusted audio rendering function based on the current audio rendering function and the adjusted gain, and generates a current output signal based on a current input signal and the adjusted audio rendering function.

  • Patent number: 11905557
Abstract: According to various embodiments described herein, a microfluidics-chip based purification device and system for Sanger-sequencing reactions is provided. The device and system allow for the introduction into a sequencing system of a cartridge containing purification technologies specific to the sequencing contaminants or sequencing method where the simplified purification solution of a cartridge allows automation of the sample purification process, reduced consumption of purification reagents, and consistency in sampling by reducing the sampling errors and artifacts. These various embodiments therefore solve the need for a microfluidics-chip-based, Sanger-sequencing reaction purification system for CE devices. The microfluidic chips described can be used as a PCR chip by reorganizing the on-chip reagents, reaction wells and work flow steps.

  • Publication number: 20240046249
Abstract: A technique is directed to methods and systems for linking digital wallets on a blockchain network. The linked digital wallet system can include a user interface that is used to manage tokens. A user can store tokens, private keys, public keys, or any information in a digital wallet. A digital wallet can refer to a hot wallet and/or a cold wallet. A hot wallet is connected to the internet. To prevent a cold wallet from connecting to the internet for a transaction, a user can link a cold wallet to a hot wallet. The hot wallet can perform a transaction on behalf of the linked cold wallet. For example, a user signs a transaction with the private key of the cold wallet, but the transaction address is the address of the hot wallet.

  • Publication number: 20230340396
Abstract: The disclosure provides a filtration system for a cell culture apparatus and a method of cell culture. The filtration system comprises a bioreactor vessel and two or more alternating tangential flow (ATF) filters connected in parallel. A failure in either filter is detected by an in-line sensor, and an automated response system functions to sequester the malfunctioning filter by stopping the flow of liquid media through the filter. Media flow through the remaining operable filters can be increased so that the rate of perfusion through the bioreactor remains relatively unchanged. Such a system may prevent issues that arise from ATF filter failures in conventional perfusion bioreactors, thereby improving the long-term viability of cell cultures.
