  • Patent number: 8725507
Abstract: Systems and methods consistent with the innovations herein relate to communication using a virtual humanoid animated during call processing. According to one exemplary implementation, the animation may be performed using a system of recognition of spoken vowels for animation of the lips, which may also be associated with the recognition of DTMF tones for animation of head movements and facial features. The innovations herein may be generally implemented in portable devices such as PDAs, cell phones and Smart Phones that have access to mobile telephony.

  • Publication number: 20140049089
Abstract: A vehicle seat cushion assembly includes a first material defining an outer seating surface. A second material sewn to the first material using first and second sewing lines disposed generally parallel to each other is disposed on an underside of the first material. A wadding material is disposed between the first and second materials and between the first and second sewing lines, and additional wadding material is disposed between the first and second materials adjacent to and not between the first and second sewing lines. The first and second materials are further sewn together using two additional sewing lines respectively disposed adjacent edges of the additional wadding material opposite the first and second sewing lines.

  • Publication number: 20110112984
Abstract: Asset liquidity is improved in a transaction network by identifying a potential party to an asset transaction based on an analysis of asset portfolio data. Portfolio data is provided by asset manager clients and transaction proposal data is provided by broker clients. The portfolio data is analyzed in view of the transaction proposal data to determine if at least one predetermined financial threshold would be satisfied in the portfolio by accepting the proposed transaction. An alert message can then be provided to the asset manager client identifying the transaction proposal if a predetermined financial threshold is triggered during the evaluating step.

  • Patent number: 4928528
Abstract: The treating device for testing the sealing strength of a seal in a catheter sheath introducer comprises a port for receiving the introducer, a mechanism for supplying pulsating liquid to the inside of the introducer, and controls for controlling the upper and lower pressures of the fluid supplied to the introducer while observing the sealing strength of the seal, with or without an elongate, rod-like member received therein. The method for testing the sealing strength of the fluid seal within a catheter sheath introducer including the steps of providing a port for engaging said introducer; engaging the introducer to the port in a fluid tight manner; supplying a pulsating flow of fluid to the inside of the introducer; controlling the upper and lower pressure parameters for the flowing fluid; and observing the seal for leakage.
