  • Publication number: 20240042727
Abstract: A thermoplastic film which exhibits elastic-like behavior along at least one axis when stretched or elongated and then released. The thermoplastic film comprises a plurality of raised rib-like elements extending in a direction perpendicular to a main surface of the thermoplastic film. The thermoplastic film further includes a plurality of web areas positioned about the plurality of raised rib-like elements. The plurality of raised rib-like elements and plurality of web areas are arranged in a complex pattern. The complex pattern provides visual and tactile cues as the films are stretched or elongated. The complex pattern can cause the thermoplastic film to have a complex stretch profile.

  • Patent number: 11882446
Abstract: A network access credential change request is received onto a network access credential updating system. The network access credential change request is a request to update access credentials of a network near a vehicle charge station. The new credential in the request is communicated to an electric vehicle. The network is updated with the network access credential. The vehicle is able to connect to the network with the updated credential after the network has been updated. In one embodiment, the network access credential updating system includes an application. A charge station operating entity communicates a network access credential change request for a particular network to the application. After sending the request, the charge station operating entity updates the network access credential for the network in accordance with a credential update agreement. The credential update agreement tends to afford adequate opportunity for vehicles to receive updated credentials before networks are updated.

  • Patent number: 11876753
Abstract: In some embodiments, a method receives a first signal that is sent in a first direction in a network. Communications in the network are full duplex communications in a same frequency band. The first signal is amplified in the first direction. The method trains a first echo canceller to cancel a first echo signal from the first signal where the first echo signal is received in a second direction. After training the first echo canceller, the trained first echo canceller is enabled. The method receives a second signal in the second direction that is sent in the second direction in the network. The second signal is amplified in the second direction. The method trains a second echo canceller to cancel a second echo signal received in the first direction from the second signal where the first echo canceller cancels the first echo signal that is received in the second direction.

  • Publication number: 20230414966
Abstract: Systems and methods for volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) treatment planning include a processor determining, using a current solution of a non-convex VMAT optimization problem, a search region defining a corresponding spatial movement range for each leaf of a plurality of leaves of a MLC. The current solution can include first positions of the plurality of leaves of the MLC. The processor can merge, for each spatial movement range of a corresponding leaf, beamlets associated with the spatial movement range, and transform the nonconvex VMAT optimization problem into a convex VMAT optimization based on the merging of b camlets associated with each spatial movement range. The processor can solve the convex VMAT optimization problem to determine at least second positions of the plurality of leaves of the MLC.

  • Patent number: 11853017
Abstract: Techniques that facilitate machine learning optimization are provided. In one example, a system includes a computational resource component, a batch interval component, and a machine learning component. The computational resource component collects computational resource data associated with a group of computing devices that performs a machine learning process. The batch interval component determines, based on the computational resource data, batch interval data indicative of a time interval to collect data for the machine learning process. The machine learning component provides the batch interval data to the group of computing devices to facilitate execution of the machine learning process based on the batch interval data.

  • Publication number: 20230405313
Abstract: Devices, systems and methods are provided for delivering molecules, particularly small molecules and/or macromolecules, to cells within the body, particularly to target cells which directly therapeutically benefit from the functionality of the molecules. Example molecules include DNA plasmids, RNAs (e.g. messenger RNA (mRNA), small interfering RNA (siRNA), micro RNA), oligonucleotides, antisense oligonucleotides (ASO), proteins and/or materials which invoke genetic or epigenetic changes in the cellular behavior, to name a few. In such instances, the molecules are driven into the target cells with the use of pulsed electric fields (PEFs) which deliver the molecules through the cell wall of the target cells so that the desired genes are able to carry out the desired effect within the cells. Thus, the molecules are to be delivered to the desired location within the body at a desired time and in a desired concentration relative to the delivery of the pulsed electric fields for optimal outcomes.

  • Publication number: 20230316137
Abstract: Automated spatial feature engineering techniques may include (1) automatically deriving new features (e.g., spatial lags) based on spatial relationships between or among observations, (2) using parameter optimization techniques to optimize parameters of the spatial feature engineering process (e.g., parameters relating to the size of spatial neighborhoods and/or to the orders of spatial lags), (3) automatically deriving new spatial features representing geometric properties and/or spatial statistics associated with individual spatial observations, (4) determining the feature importance of location features, and/or (5) automatically partitioning spatial datasets such that spatial leakage is reduced, which generally leads to the development of more accurate spatial models. Such techniques may involve joint treatment of distinct location coordinate features as a single location feature for purposes of determining feature importance.

  • Patent number: 11750580
Abstract: A system, computer-readable storage medium, and method for secure network communication. A first device employs a first secret to establish a stream between the first and a second device. A third key, first ciphertext based on a first key, and hash of the first key are received from the second device by the first. A second key is applied to recover a second secret from the first ciphertext. The third key is encrypted to generate a second ciphertext including a third secret. Fourth and fifth keys are derived based on the first, second, and third secrets. A message authentication code is generated based on the fourth and third keys, first ciphertext, hash of the first key, and second ciphertext. The second ciphertext and message authentication code are transmitted by the first to the second device, and the fifth key is employed by the first device to modify the stream.
