  • Patent number: 11560259
Abstract: A liquid-dispensing container may include a vessel, lid body, valve assembly, selector and/or straw. The selector may be movable between a first position that allows fluid disposed within the container to be discharged through a straw, and a second position that allows fluid within the container to be discharged by inverting and/or squeezing the container. The selector may be movable into a closed position that restricts fluid from being discharged from the container. The selector may be movable into a detachment position that allows for detachment of the selector from a remainder of the container, disassembly of the valve assembly, or both.

  • Patent number: 11546156
Abstract: The present embodiments relate to establishing secure data communication using an Elliptic-curve Diffie-Hellman ephemeral (ECDHE) key agreement procedure. Devices in a network environment can utilize a key agreement procedure to establish secure communication between multiple application layers in a micro service architecture. Particularly, a tunnel can be established between a mobile device and an encryption service by transmitting key information between the mobile device and the encryption service. This can allow for encryption keys to only be accurately generated by the mobile device and encryption service. Accordingly, intermediary nodes may be unable to decrypt the data, allowing for safe and secure transport of sensitive data.

  • Publication number: 20220393848
Abstract: In some embodiments, a method receives a first signal that is sent in a first direction in a network. Communications in the network are full duplex communications in a same frequency band. The first signal is amplified in the first direction. The method trains a first echo canceller to cancel a first echo signal from the first signal where the first echo signal is received in a second direction. After training the first echo canceller, the trained first echo canceller is enabled. The method receives a second signal in the second direction that is sent in the second direction in the network. The second signal is amplified in the second direction. The method trains a second echo canceller to cancel a second echo signal received in the first direction from the second signal where the first echo canceller cancels the first echo signal that is received in the second direction.

  • Publication number: 20220375617
Abstract: Systems, methods, and media are provided for predicting fall risk for a post-acute care patient. Patient data for the post-acute care patient is received. Features from the patient data are extracted. The features include one or more polypharmacy features. Other features may include lab or vital features. Based on the features extracted from the patient data, a prediction of the post-acute care patient suffering a fall within the future is generated using one or more machine learning models. The one or more machine learning models may be trained using one or more of binary features, continuous features, categorical features, free-text features, or a combination thereof. An action is initiated based on the prediction of the post-acute care patient suffering a fall. The action is associated with reducing the risk of the patient fall, such adjusting the lighting in the patient's room, for example.

  • Patent number: 11486103
Abstract: This invention is a novel retroreflective traffic stripe comprising a widely spaced repeating pattern of linear light turning prisms over cube corner retroreflective prisms in a critical optimal configuration. The light turning prisms comprise at least two exposed surfaces, one approximately vertical facing the headlights of oncoming traffic, and another opposing the first and sloped by approximately 45 degrees. The approximately vertical surface efficiently accepts light from the headlights and transmits such light to the sloped surface which totally internally reflects such light downward onto an array of cube corner retroreflective prisms, which totally internally reflect such light in approximately the reverse direction.

  • Patent number: 11478764
Abstract: An agitator may include one or more members adjustable between an expanded configuration and a compressed configuration. When the one or more members are in the expanded configuration, the agitator in a first set of two orthogonal dimensions is larger than an opening having a predetermined size. When the one or more members are in the compressed configuration, the agitator in a second set of two orthogonal dimensions is smaller than the opening having the predetermined size. The one or more members are biased to the expanded configuration in absence of external force applied to the one or more members. In use, the agitator may be inserted into a container through a neck of the container in the compressed configuration. The agitator may expand within the container so that the container does not fit through the neck of the container.
