  • Publication number: 20230181277
Abstract: A drape connector system can be used to join different sections of drape material, such as different sections of compositionally dissimilar drape material. In some examples, a medical drape is formed that includes a first section of drape material, a second section of drape material, and the connector system. The connector system includes a receiving body defining a groove and a locking body insertable into the groove. A portion of the first section of drape material is positioned overlaying the groove, and a portion of the second section of drape material is also positioned overlaying the groove. The locking body is inserted into the groove thereby locking the portion of the first section of drape material and the portion of the second section of drape material in the groove.

  • Patent number: 11672965
Abstract: An applicator for an analyte monitoring device may include an actuatable housing having a body defining a cavity therein and having a distal opening and a side opening. A cuff and a shuttle are received within the cavity and are separately translatable relative to the housing body. A base may removable engage the housing body at the distal opening. The housing body, the cuff, the shuttle, and/or the base may be engaged with one another with one or more releasable coupling features. The base may be removed from an engagement with the housing body, causing the cuff and the shuttle to be aligned and positioned in a configuration in which the analyte monitoring device, held by the shuttle, is ready for insertion into the skin.

  • Patent number: 11663906
Abstract: A projected target location of a handheld object is determined based on applying translation factors, scaling factors, and offsets to a location of a reference element of the handheld object detected by a camera on a two-dimensional plane. The translation factors are determined based on a difference between a calibration location on the plane and an initial location of the reference element corresponding to the calibration location, and serve to shift the location of the reference element to generate the projected target location. The scaling factors are determined based on an estimated length of a user's arm holding the handheld object, and serve to scale the location of the reference element to generate the projected target location. The offsets are determined based on polynomial equations, and serve to extend the distance between the projected target location and the calibration location.

  • Publication number: 20230156289
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for curating content items. In some embodiments, a content item group generator applies rules defining inclusion and exclusion criteria to content items and associated metadata in order to assign the content items to content item groups. Given the assignments of content items to content item groups, a list generator applies a machine learning technique to generate, for each content item, a representation of the content item that includes weights associating the content item with the content item groups. The list generator then computes a weighted sum of representations of content items that a user has purchased and/or otherwise engaged with in order to generate a representation of the user that includes weights indicating affinities of the user with the content item groups. The list generator further generates one or more lists for display to the user based on the representation of the user.

  • Publication number: 20230127836
Abstract: The technology disclosed includes a system to group security alerts generated in a computer network and prioritize grouped security alerts for analysis, through graph-based clustering. The graph used to form clusters includes entities in the computer network represented as scored nodes, and relationships of entities as weighted edges. The technology disclosed includes traversing the graph starting at starting nodes and propagating native scores through and to neighboring nodes connected by the weighted edges. The propagated scores at visited nodes are normalized by attenuation based on contributing neighboring nodes of a respective visited node. An aggregate score for a visited node is calculated by accumulating propagated scores at visited nodes with their respective native scores. The technology disclosed forms clusters of connected nodes in the graph that have a respective aggregate score above a selected threshold. The clusters are ranked and prioritized for analysis, pursuant to the aggregate scores.

  • Patent number: 11635988
Abstract: A computing device determines an optimal number of threads for a computer task. Execution of a computing task is controlled in a computing environment based on each task configuration included in a plurality of task configurations to determine an execution runtime value for each task configuration. An optimal number of threads value is determined for each set of task configurations having common values for a task parameter value, a dataset indicator, and a hardware indicator. The optimal number of threads value is an extremum value of an execution parameter value as a function of a number of threads value. A dataset parameter value is determined for a dataset. A hardware parameter value is determined as a characteristic of each distinct executing computing device in the computing environment. The optimal number of threads value for each set of task configurations is stored in a performance dataset in association with the common values.
