  • Publication number: 20220327916
Abstract: A projected target location of a handheld object is determined based on applying translation factors, scaling factors, and offsets to a location of a reference element of the handheld object detected by a camera on a two-dimensional plane. The translation factors are determined based on a difference between a calibration location on the plane and an initial location of the reference element corresponding to the calibration location, and serve to shift the location of the reference element to generate the projected target location. The scaling factors are determined based on an estimated length of a user's arm holding the handheld object, and serve to scale the location of the reference element to generate the projected target location. The offsets are determined based on polynomial equations, and serve to extend the distance between the projected target location and the calibration location.

  • Patent number: 11466243
Abstract: The present invention provides a bioreactor controller with a simple user interface comprising a microcontroller and a linear motor. The bioreactor controller is microcontroller-based, has a greater temporal accuracy, and inexpensive. The microcontroller of the bioreactor controller selects a protocol mode and a setup mode by the user, runs the protocol mode if the setup mode is not selected by the user, stops running the protocol mode for a predetermined time if the protocol mode is selected by the user until the user is completed with calculations and record-keeping, detects movement error of the bioreactor controller, and informs the error to the user.

  • Publication number: 20220316063
Abstract: RPCVD apparatus for forming a film is disclosed including a showerhead having at least one gas chamber, one or more plasma inlets to deliver plasma from one or more plasma generators into a reaction chamber; and a plurality of gas inlets to deliver gas from at least one gas chamber into the reaction chamber. At least one of the plasma inlets is located at a position that is between a central region and an outer region of the showerhead and off-centre from an axis of rotation. The plasma generators generate plasma in line of sight of the susceptor and the plasma inlets have openings that are larger than openings of the gas inlets. The gas inlets are configured such that a combination of all of the spatial distributions of gas from the gas inlets provides a uniform distribution of gas density on the surface of a susceptor between a central region and an outer region of the susceptor, for a full rotation of the susceptor.

  • Publication number: 20220322091
Abstract: Various arrangements for wireless network provisioning using a pre-shared key (PSK) are presented. A plurality of wireless network access profiles that indicate a plurality of PSKs may be stored. An access point may receive, from a wireless device, a first value based at on the PSK. The access point can transmit the first value to a cloud-based provisioning system. A plurality of values based on the plurality of PSKs of the plurality of wireless network access profiles may be created and a match between a second value of the plurality of values and the transmitted first value may be identified. A third value may be provided to the access point based on the PSK of the wireless network access profile of the plurality of wireless network access profiles used to generate the value. Network access can then be granted based on the third value.

  • Publication number: 20220308989
Abstract: A computing device selects new test configurations for testing software. (A) First test configurations are generated using a random seed value. (B) Software under test is executed with the first test configurations to generate a test result for each. (C) Second test configurations are generated from the first test configurations and the test results generated for each. (D) The software under test is executed with the second test configurations to generate the test result for each. (E) When a restart is triggered based on a distance metric value computed between the second test configurations, a next random seed value is selected as the random seed value and (A) through (E) are repeated. (F) When the restart is not triggered, (C) through (F) are repeated until a stop criterion is satisfied. (G) When the stop criterion is satisfied, the test result is output for each test configuration.

  • Patent number: 11429741
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating multi-factor authentication for data security. In some embodiments, a computer system receives, from a user device, a database operation request that specifies a set of query data, where the computer system supports multiple different security levels requiring different subsets of a set of authentication factors supported by a known device of a user of the user device. Various devices may determine current contextual information for the database operation request, where the contextual information indicates the set of query data. In some embodiments, the computer system compares the current contextual information with prior contextual information for database requests and then selects a security level from the different security levels. The computer system then initiates verification of a subset of authentication factors corresponding to the selected security level.
