  • Patent number: 11246257
Abstract: In one aspect, a method for reducing material accumulation relative to a closing assembly of an agricultural implement may include receiving an input associated with an amount of material accumulation relative to the closing assembly. Additionally, the method may include controlling an operation of the implement based on the received input such that at least one of a first closing tool or a second closing tool of the closing assembly moves from a working position to a material removal position to reduce an amount of material accumulation relative to the closing assembly. The method may also include controlling an operation of an actuator of the implement to actuate the at least one of the first closing tool or the second closing tool from the material removal position back to the working position.

  • Patent number: 11243592
Abstract: An information handling system includes a controller and first, second and third devices. The devices power-on during a power-on sequence of the information handling system. During the power-on sequence, the controller provides a first power brake signal to the first device via a first power brake line, a second power brake signal to the second device via a second power brake line, and a third power brake signal to the third device via a third power brake line. The controller removes the first power brake signal from the first power brake line. In response to an expiration of a first amount of time, the controller removes the second power brake signal from the second power brake line. In response to an expiration of a second amount of time, the controller removes the third power brake signal from the third power brake line.

  • Patent number: 11234355
Abstract: A system for managing material accumulation relative to an agricultural implement may include a ground engaging tool supported on an agricultural implement and an infrared sensor having a field of view directed towards the ground engaging tool. The infrared sensor may be configured to generate data indicative of a temperature gradient of field materials at the ground engaging tool. A controller of the system may be communicatively coupled to the infrared sensor. The controller may monitor the data received from the infrared sensor and determine a presence of material accumulation relative to the ground engaging tool based at least in part on the temperature gradient of the field materials at the ground engaging tool.

  • Publication number: 20220028159
Abstract: Techniques are described for using computing devices to perform automated operations related to, with respect to a computer model of a house or other building's interior, generating and displaying simulated lighting information in the model based on sunlight or other external light that is estimated to enter the building and be visible in particular rooms of the interior under specified conditions, such as using ambient occlusion and light transport matrix calculations. The computer model may be a 3D (three-dimensional) or 2.5D representation that is generated after the house is built and that shows physical components of the actual house's interior (e.g., walls), and may be displayed to a user of a client computing device in a displayed GUI (graphical user interface) via which the user specifies conditions for which the simulated lighting display is generated.

  • Patent number: 11227241
Abstract: A method and system for automatically assigning employees to work plurality of cash registers when the employees report for work is described. The system and method automatically compares the employee's qualifications to the current operational status of a plurality of cash registers and any parameters that may govern the operation of the cash registers such as age requirements for the sale of alcohol. The system automatically assigns an employee to a cash register and transmits real time operational status of those cash registers to a supervisor via a wireless device.

  • Publication number: 20220012335
Abstract: Aspects of the invention include receiving, by a processor, source code for a software program written in a first programming language. The received source code is converted into abstracted source code that is in a generic format that is different than a format of the first programming language. The abstracted source code is compared to known source code patterns. Based on determining that at least a subset of the abstracted source code matches a pattern in the known source code patterns, sending an alert to the user indicating that the received source code matches the pattern.

  • Patent number: 11206753
Abstract: A system for controlling an implement during a tillage operation may include a frame and a ground-engaging tool pivotally coupled to the frame and movable relative to the frame between a retracted position and an extended position. An actuator may be configured to bias the ground-engaging tool towards the extended position during the tillage operation. An adjustable valve may be configured to permit flow out of the actuator when a fluid pressure of the actuator exceeds a reset pressure such that the actuator allows the ground-engaging tool to pivot towards the retracted position. A controller may be configured to determine at least one of an actuator position or a load value indicative of a force applied by the ground-engaging tool against the soil during the tillage operation and adjust the reset pressure based on the at least one of the actuator position or the load value.

  • Patent number: 11212375
Abstract: A first add-in card is connected to a second add-in card via a network communication link using a first network protocol. The first add-in card determines that a first network interface device is directly connected to a second network interface device via the network communication link, and directs that the first and second network interface devices communicate via a second network protocol based upon the first network interface device being directly connected to the second network interface device via the network communication link. The second network protocol transmits a higher proportion of data than the first network protocol.

  • Patent number: 11195234
Abstract: The present embodiments relate to detecting fraudulent insurance claims. According to certain aspects, a central monitoring server may receive and examine data detected by at least one unmanned vehicle and generate an estimated insurance claim for a loss event. The central monitoring server may then receive an actual insurance claim relating to the loss event, and may compare the estimated insurance claim to the actual insurance claim to identify potential buildup included in the actual insurance claim. If buildup is detected, the central monitoring server may then process the actual insurance claim accordingly based upon the potential buildup. As a result, claim monies may be paid to insureds that more accurately reflect actual losses resulting from the loss event, and insurance cost savings may be ultimately passed onto typical insurance customers.

Abstract: The present invention provides a bioreactor controller with a simple user interface comprising a microcontroller and a linear motor. The bioreactor controller is microcontroller-based, has a greater temporal accuracy, and inexpensive. The microcontroller of the bioreactor controller selects a protocol mode and a setup mode by the user, runs the protocol mode if the setup mode is not selected by the user, stops running the protocol mode for a predetermined time if the protocol mode is selected by the user until the user is completed with calculations and record-keeping, detects movement error of the bioreactor controller, and informs the error to the user.
