  • Publication number: 20160289916
Abstract: A control system for controlling a position of an implement of a machine operating on a terrain includes a controller configured to generate a signal indicative of a desired cylinder velocity of an actuator associated with the implement of the machine and an operating mode sensor configured to generate a signal indicative of an operating mode of the machine. The control system includes an instability detection module which receives the signal indicative of the desired cylinder velocity of the actuator from the controller and the signal indicative of the operating mode of the machine from the operating mode sensor. The instability detection module detects an instability condition based on the signal indicative of the desired cylinder velocity of the actuator and selectively adjusts a controller gain associated with the desired cylinder velocity based at least in part on the instability condition and the operating mode of the machine.

  • Publication number: 20160275343
Abstract: According to one aspect, a method for categorizing at least one image includes obtaining the at least one image and mapping the at least one image to at least a first grid. The first grid is a two-dimensional grid that includes a plurality of cells. The method also includes characterizing the first grid, wherein categorizing the first grid includes determining whether the first grid is indicative of an offensive characteristic, and identifying the at least one image as offensive when it is determined that the first grid is indicative of the offensive characteristic. When it is determined that the first grid is not indicative of the offensive characteristic, the at least one image is identified as not offensive.

  • Publication number: 20160109864
Abstract: Techniques described herein provide wireless building automation. Embodiments include receiving, by a computing device, a feature setting command associated with a peripheral device from a controlling device. The computing device may identify a peripheral application corresponding to the feature setting command, and transform the feature setting command into a generic command. The computing device may translate the generic control protocol of the generic command to a peripheral control protocol associated with the peripheral application in response to a determination that the peripheral application is a non-native application. The computing device may execute the peripheral application based on the generic command in the peripheral control protocol to generate a command for performance of a certain task on the peripheral device.
