  • Patent number: 9298539
Abstract: Various systems and methods for automated error recovery in workflows. For example, one method involves executing operations of a first task. A workflow includes multiple tasks that include the first task. Each of the tasks represents one or more operations that are configured to access one or more elements. The method also involves detecting an error in execution of the one or more first operations, where the error indicates inaccessible elements. In response to the error detection, the method can automatically execute an error recovery portion of the first task. Execution of the error recovery portion includes receiving one or more responses, where the first task can use the response(s) instead of the one or more inaccessible elements.

  • Patent number: 9176748
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for creating presentations using digital media content. In one aspect, input is received to position a first graphical element, such as a digital image, over a second graphical element to create a digital presentation. By analyzing a first feature associated with the first graphical element, it is determined that the first feature is incompatible with a second feature associated with the second graphical element. The second feature is dynamically and automatically modified to be compatible with the first feature, and the first graphical element is displayed over the second graphical element that is associated with the modified second feature, in response to the input.

  • Patent number: 9174004
Abstract: An outer needle cover for a pen needle assembly is provided with a breakaway flange. Prior to use, the flange is connected to a body of the outer cover. The flange has a reduced cross sectional thickness portion that facilitates separation of the flange from the outer cover, thereby reducing the outer diameter of the outer cover. The reduced outer diameter of the outer cover allows the outer cover to be received by a pen cap of an existing injector device.

Abstract: A variable frequency motor drive comprises a converter including a rectifier having an input for connection to an AC power source and converting the AC power to DC power. A DC bus is connected to the rectifier circuit. At least one bus capacitor is across the DC bus. An inverter receives DC power from the DC bus and converts the DC power to AC power to drive a motor. A controller is operatively connected to the converter. The controller comprises a speed control controlling the inverter responsive to a speed command to maintain a desired motor speed. A speed foldback control measures DC bus ripple voltage and regulates the speed command responsive to the measured DC bus ripple voltage.

  • Publication number: 20150223760
Abstract: A screening procedure and apparatus enables those at risk of cardiac arrhythmia to be identified. The procedure utilises a blood flow detector (12) in conjunction with a signal analysis unit (18) to monitor a sequence of multiple heart pulses, hence to deduce the values of a sequence of multiple heart pulse intervals, and to analyse the sequence of multiple heart pulse intervals to deduce a risk parameter whose value enables those at risk of cardiac arrhythmia to be identified. The risk parameter may be calculated from a first measure, or alternatively by combining the first measure with a second measure, where the first measure is calculated from the ratio between the variability between successive intervals in the sequence, and the mean interval value, while the second measure relates to the proportion of cases in which a long interval is followed by another long interval in the sequence.
