Abstract: Techniques are discussed herein for detecting and managing faults occurring within various vehicle systems, to enable the vehicle to respond safely and appropriately to the faults. In examples, a constraint generator may receive sensor data associated with the operation of a vehicle in an environment. The constraint generator may perturb the sensor data to mimic particular sensor faults, and execute simulations to determine performance degradations of the vehicle systems associated with the particular sensor faults. Based on the performance degradations associated with sensor faults, the constraint generator may determine the appropriate constraints with limitations on the operation of the vehicle, and communicate the constraint parameters to the appropriate vehicle systems accordingly.

Abstract: An umbrella connection assembly for securing an umbrella to a vehicle hitch. The assembly includes a first arm coupled to the hitch and an end including opposing tabs, where each tab includes an axle pin aperture and a locking pin aperture. The assembly also includes a second arm having a protrusion at one end that is positioned between the opposing tabs, where the protrusion includes an axle pin aperture and a plurality of locking pin apertures. An axle pin is inserted in the axle pin apertures so that the second arm is rotatable relative to the first arm. A locking pin is inserted in the locking pin apertures so that the second arm is locked to the first arm. A third arm is coupled to an end of the second arm opposite to the protrusion so that the third arm is generally perpendicular to the second arm.

Abstract: Estimating the responses of multiple parts of the visual field or fields of one or both eyes from records of the responses of one or both pupils to stimuli to the multiple parts of those visual fields. Collections of stimuli can be controlled by separate pseudo-random sequences, one sequence for each stimulated visual field region. Both temporal impulse responses for each component part of the visual field, and gain-kernels characterizing dynamic changes in the pupil responses, which can be driven by short-term fluctuations in overall stimulus density, are estimated. Many fewer gain-kernels can be estimated by grouping the stimuli into symbolic stimulus groups and only estimating a gain-kernel for each group. Particular symbolic stimulus groups are shown to be highly efficient. The ability to estimate more reliable responses with relatively few extra gain-kernel coefficients requires less data to be collected.

At a term end, the self-executing agreement receives payment instructions from the policyholders; pays, using cryptocurrency from the premiums escrow, the claimant an incident claim payment larger than the premium payment and determined according to the payment instructions; and distributes to the policyholders a rebate payment equal to or lower than the premium payment from the premiums escrow, which returns to a zero balance.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide for adaptively allocating processing operations according to an edge-only processing mode, a hybrid edge-cloud processing mode, and/or cloud-only processing mode, but are not so limited. In one aspect, the disclosure describes adaptively managing processing of applications or application modules by using machine learning in part to direct how the processing operations are to be performed whether using edge-only resources, hybrid edge-cloud resources, and/or cloud-only resources. Abstract: Systems and methods for the modification of an aircraft landing pattern through a graphical user interface. The graphical user interface provides buttons associated with flight maneuvers that, when selected, trigger an autopilot of the aircraft to perform the corresponding maneuver. The maneuvers may include a loitering maneuver such as a 360 degree maneuver, a downwind extension maneuver and a turn to base maneuver.

The system receives a cloud platform independent declarative specification describing a new datacenter to be created or modifications to an existing datacenter deployed on a cloud platform. The system compiles the cloud platform independent declarative specification to generate a metadata representation of the data center. If the datacenter is existing, the system generates a metadata representation representing modifications to the datacenter to obtain a desired datacenter. The system sends the metadata representation and a set of instructions for execution on a target cloud platform. The target cloud platform executes the instructions to configure the data center. The system provides users with access to the computing resources of the data center configured by the target cloud platform.
