    Abstract: Example embodiments disclosed herein relates to upmixing of audio signals. A method of upmixing an audio signal is described. The method includes decomposing the audio signal into a diffuse signal and a direct signal, generating an audio bed at least in part based on the diffuse signal, the audio bed including a height channel, extracting an audio object from the direct signal, estimating metadata of the audio object, the metadata including height information of the audio object; and rendering the audio bed and the audio object as an upmixed audio signal, wherein the audio bed is rendered to a predefined position and the audio object is rendered according to the metadata. Corresponding system and computer program product are described as well.

    Abstract: An access network can allocate a bearer for a network service associated with a quality-of-service (QoS) value (QV) and a retention-priority value (RPV), and determine a bearer ID for the service based on the QV, the RPV, and a supplemental priority value (SPV) different from the QV and from the RPV. Upon handover of a terminal, session(s) carried by a bearer allocated by the terminal can be terminated. That bearer can be selected using IDs of the bearers and a comparison function that, given two bearer IDs, determines which respective bearer should be terminated before the other. Upon handover of a terminal to an access network supporting fewer bearers per terminal than the terminal has allocated, a network node can select a bearer based on respective QVs and RPVs of a set of allocated bearers. The network node can deallocate the selected bearer.

    Abstract: A first flow path is connected to an inlet for introducing gas into a microvalve. A second flow path is connected to an outlet for allowing gas to flow out of the microvalve. A third flow path is for introducing a pneumatic fluid into the microvalve. A negative pressure generation mechanism (a pump) is for generating a negative pressure on the second flow path to suck gas from the first flow path forward the second flow path via the microvalve. A pressure adjustment mechanism (a connection flow path and a valve) is for reducing a pressure difference between the second flow path and the third flow path to prevent the inlet and the outlet from being blocked by a diaphragm layer in response to the negative pressure generated on the second flow path side.
