    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a vector denoising method for the multicomponent seismic data, including: obtaining a wave vector of the multicomponent seismic data; calculating a first mean wave vector for the multicomponent seismic data by applying a first moving window, performing a median filtering for the first mean wave vector to obtain a true modulus of the ground roll, subtracting the wave vector of the ground roll from the multicomponent seismic data to obtain a vector time-series; performing a mean filtering for the vector time-series by using a second moving window to obtain a second mean wave vector, performing a median filtering and performing a median the median filtering within the same receiving line for the second mean wave vector to supress the wave vector of the random noise in the vector time-series, thereby obtaining a wave vector of a purified effective signal.

The power source of the transmitter can define at least a portion of the nose of the body. The transmitters can have an antenna extending from the tail. Methods for attaching a radio frequency (RF) transmitter to an animal are provided. The methods can include providing an RF transmitter and providing an injection device having a needle of gauge of 9 or smaller; providing the RF transmitter into the injection device; and providing the RF transmitter through the 9 gauge or smaller needle and into the animal.

This sensor fish contains sensors for acceleration, rotation, magnetic field intensity, pressure, and temperature. A low-power microcontroller collects data from the sensors and stores up to 5 minutes of data on a non-volatile flash memory. A rechargeable battery supplies power to the sensor fish. A recovery system helps locating sensor fish. The package, when ready for use is nearly neutrally buoyant and thus mimics the behavior of an actual fish.

For example, in a first configuration, the mobile device's camera is unobstructed and imaging may proceed normally. In a second configuration, on the other hand, the camera's imaging direction may be repositioned by a reflective element in the camera's optical path. The reflective element provides feedback to the mobile device via visible markings that may be imaged by the camera and detected by the mobile device. If the mobile device determines that the mirror is in the optical path, then the mobile device may respond to accommodate the mirror and enable a function, like reading an indicium.
