    Abstract: A lens plate has an array of lenslets. A first surface comprises a plurality of individual cells, each cell delimiting one side of a respective lenslet of the array. A second opposite surface comprises a set of grooves, each groove delimiting a second, opposite side, of a sub-array of the lenslets of the array of lenslets. The array of lenslets is a circular array comprising a plurality of concentric rings. Each ring comprises a plurality of straight segments, and each segment comprises multiple said lenslets arranged in a row. The lens plate design thus combines grooves on one side which cover multiple lenslets and a cellular lens structure on the opposite side.

A coefficient of thermal expansion of the compound layer is less than or equal to 9 ppm/° C. A glass transition temperature of the compound layer is larger than 150° C. The plurality of metal layers comprises a first titanium layer, a first nickel layer, a silver layer, a second nickel layer, and a metallic layer. In a first example, the metallic layer is a second titanium layer. In a second example, the metallic layer is a Titanium Nitride (TiN) layer.

    Abstract: Coils for superconducting magnets and methods of making coils for superconducting magnets and controlling the turn-to-turn contact resistance of coils. The coils include a REBCO superconducting tape coated with a layer of tin-lead solder, co-wound with an oxidized stainless steel tape. The inclusion of tin-lead solder on the REBCO tape and a layer of oxidation on the stainless steel tape advantageously allow for tuning of the turn-to-turn contact resistance of the coil, and advantageously mitigates the effect of repeated pressure cycling on the turn-to-turn contact resistance.

    Abstract: Embodiments are presented herein of an open-loop test system for testing vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSELs). A high-speed pulse generator may be used to produce nanoseconds pulses provided to the VCSEL device. A high-speed oscilloscope may be used to measure the resultant nanoseconds pulses across the VCSEL device. The VCSEL device voltage and VCSEL device current may be obtained from the measured nanosecond pulses according to compensation data derived from the system. A pre-test compensation procedure may be used to obtain the compensation data, which may include representative characteristics of each system component.

The millimeter-wave radar housing material specifically comprises the following components in parts by weight: 50-90 parts of polypropylene, 10-50 parts of glass fiber, 0.2-0.8 part of a nucleating agent, 0.5-1 part of a compatibilizer, 0.1-0.5 part of a black colorant, 0.1-0.5 part of an antioxidant, and 0.1-0.8 part of a light stabilizer. The radar housing material disclosed by the present invention has the advantages of low dielectricity, being lightweight, high strength and high heat resistance, can transmit a near-infrared light beam, and has laser weldability.
