  • Publication number: 20180046231
Abstract: A storage device with a memory may modify throttling to reduce cross temperature effects. The decision to throttle may be based on a memory device temperature (i.e. temperature throttling) or may be based on the memory device's health, usage, or performance (e.g. hot count or bit error rate). Temperature throttling may be implemented that considers the memory device's health, usage, or performance (e.g. hot count or bit error rate). Likewise, throttling based on the memory device's health, usage, or performance may utilize the memory device's temperature to optimize throttling time. For example, a test mode matrix (TMM) may be modified to depend on temperature.

  • Patent number: 9734705
Abstract: A logo assembly, a control method, a controller and an electronic device are provided. The logo assembly comprises: a front case of a logo and a touchpad attached to a backside of the front case of the logo. The touchpad comprises a touch sensor configured to send a control signal to the controller when detecting a touch control operation to the front case of the logo, such that the controller performs a control operation to the electronic device after receiving the control signal. By attaching the touchpad to the backside of the front case of the logo, it solves the issue that a logo has a negative impact on the design of the position of buttons at the front panel of the electronic device, thus reducing the impact of the logo on the position of the buttons.

  • Patent number: 9710325
Abstract: Techniques for efficiently programming non-volatile storage are disclosed. A second page of data may efficiently be programmed into memory cells that already store a first page. Data may be efficiently transferred from single bit cells to multi-bit cells. Memory cells are read using at least two different read levels. The results are compared to determine a count how many memory cells showed a different result between the two reads. If the count is less than a threshold, then data from the memory cells is stored into a set of data latches without attempting to correct for misreads. If the count is not less than the threshold, then data from the memory cells is stored into the set of data latches with attempting to correct for misreads. A programming operation may be performed based on the data stored in the set of data latches.

  • Patent number: 9564233
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for adjusting a voltage level for a write operation on a partially programmed block of a nonvolatile storage device. A write module receives a request to perform a write operation for one or more storage cells of an partially programmed block of a nonvolatile storage device. A characteristic module determines whether a characteristic for a partially programmed block of a nonvolatile storage device satisfies a threshold. A voltage adjustment module adjusts a voltage level applied to one or more source lines connected to the one or more storage cells during a write operation in response to determining a characteristic satisfies a threshold.

  • Patent number: 9455531
Abstract: The present invention discloses an electrical connector for flat conductor which includes an insulating body and a shielding housing. Vertical insert slots corresponding to two notches of the flat conductor are provided on the insulating body. An elastic buckling piece is formed in the vertical insert slot of the insulating body. The elastic buckling piece comprises an elastic arm extending obliquely upward and a buckling part formed through extending downward from a tail end of the elastic arm. One end of the elastic arm is connected integrally to the insulating body. A fixture block is disposed on an inner wall surface of the vertical insert slot in a protruding manner. The fixture block is located at a free end side of the elastic arm, and the fixture block is located below the buckling part. After the flat conductor is inserted, the elastic buckling piece is pressed down until the buckling part is buckled below the fixture block of the insulating body.

  • Patent number: 9355713
Abstract: In a Multi Level Cell (MLC) memory array block in which lower pages are written first, before any upper pages, the lower page data is subject to an exclusive OR (XOR) operation so that if any lower page becomes uncorrectable by ECC (UECC) then the page can be recovered using XOR. Lower pages in such blocks may be written in nonsequential order.

  • Publication number: 20160098216
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are provided that refresh data in a memory. Data is programmed into the memory. After which, part or all of the data may be refreshed. The refresh of the data may be different from the initial programming of the data in one or more respects. For example, the refresh of the data may include fewer steps than the programming of the data and may be performed without erasing a section of memory. Further, the refresh of the data may be triggered in one of several ways. For example, after programming the data, the data may be analyzed for errors. Based on the number of errors found, the data may be refreshed.
