    Abstract: A computing system includes a memory controller, a central processing unit (CPU), and a random access memory (RAM). The memory controller determines if the computing system is in a low power mode. If the memory controller detects at least one m-channel regions of the RAM has been accessed, the memory controller sends an interrupt to a hypervisor of the CPU. Then the CPU performs page migration to move data in at least one m-channel region of the RAM to at least one n-channel region of the RAM, where m>n. After completing the page migration, the CPU notifies the memory controller.
