The pixel electrode and the common electrode are formed to have a stacked layer structure of a transparent conductive material layer and an opaque metal layer, each having a line-width of 3.5 ?m or less. Such a liquid crystal display device can enhance the transmittance of a pixel region with preventing the chuck stain by forming electrodes in a double layer structure with a transparent conductive material layer and an opaque metal layer.
