  • Patent number: 11974966
Abstract: A medical product includes a bladder, a filtration device, and a sterile product concentrate. The bladder has a perimeter seal and defining a sterile chamber. The filtration device includes a stem and a filter membrane disposed in line with the stem. The stem extends through the perimeter seal and has an inlet end accessible from outside of the perimeter seal and an outlet end in fluid communication with the sterile chamber. The filter membrane can have a nominal pore size in a range of approximately 0.1 ?m to approximately 0.5 ?m, wherein the filter membrane is shaped as a hollow fiber with a wall and pores residing in the wall of the fiber. The sterile product concentrate is disposed in the sterile chamber and adapted to be reconstituted by the introduction of a pharmaceutical fluid into the chamber through the filtration device.

  • Publication number: 20240123139
Abstract: Compensation of pressure driven leakage while using high precision volumetric pumps may be provided. A measurement apparatus comprising a pump may be calibrated. Calibrating the measurement apparatus may comprise creating a characterization of leakage through the pump as a function of a pressure difference over the pump. The measurement apparatus may be operated for a predetermined time period to pump a liquid. A measurement of a flow through the measurement apparatus may be determined based on the amount of rotation of the piston. The measurement of the flow may be compensated for leakage of the pump while the measurement apparatus operated for the predetermined time period based on the characterization of leakage and the amount of piston rotation during the period and the monitored pressure difference over the pump.

  • Publication number: 20120279647
Abstract: A method glues a heat-activated glueable surface element to an adhesive substrate which does not conduct electric current, whereby a surface thereof has only a low thermal conductivity. The heat-activated glueable surface element has an electrically conductive layer in addition to a heat-activated adhesive mass. The layer is inductively heated for a short time in an alternating magnetic field at a frequency from a middle frequency range. A high pressure of at least 1 MPa is exerted on the gluing surface simultaneously to the inductive heating, whereby preventing thermal decomposition reactions is possible. Further, a device performs the method and has an induction heater integrated in a press tool.
