  • Publication number: 20140084813
Abstract: A power supply device includes a control circuit and a first circuit. The control circuit switches between a current control mode and a voltage control mode according to an inputted dimming signal and thus dims a light-emitting element. In the current control mode the control circuit controls an output current supplied to the light-emitting element to a target current, and in the voltage control mode the control circuit controls an output voltage supplied to the light-emitting element to a target voltage. The first circuit detects the output current and the output voltage, and sets the target voltage at which switching between the current control mode and the voltage control mode is carried out as a first voltage.

  • Publication number: 20130329480
Abstract: The SRAM memory cell includes a metal wiring line having a titanium or tantalum film in a bottom layer, and a via having a tungsten plug. The via is arranged on the metal line following a layout rule which permits the misalignment. In arranging the upper-layer via with a tungsten plug on the metal line, one side of the via is disposed to be adjacent to one end of the metal line with a margin smaller than an alignment accuracy, and the lower-layer via is laid out far away from the end of the metal line as possible. The reduction in the yield, caused by the problem of the contact with the lower-layer via being broken or increased in resistance at occurrence of misalignment, can be suppressed.

  • Patent number: 8439468
Abstract: In a print apparatus for performing a print by a scan of a print head with heaters generating thermal energy for ejecting ink, a temperature of the print head is detected before the scan of the print head, and when the detected temperature exceeds a threshold temperature, the print head is controlled to wait. Information relating to the cumulative number of drives of the heater in the print head is acquired and, based upon this information, the threshold temperature is changed to a lower temperature as the cumulative number of the drives increases. An excessive temperature rise of the head is restricted and also a throughput reduction is reduced as much as possible.
