  • Patent number: 7351084
Abstract: A connector unit includes a mating connector and a connector. The mating connector includes a canceling piece for canceling connections between the female terminals of a short-circuit terminal when the mating connector is connected to the connector. The connector includes a connector housing, female terminals, a short-circuit terminal, and a contact regulating part. The contact regulating part includes a regulating piece and a regulating projection. A through hole for passing a resilient contact piece of the short-circuit terminal is provided on the regulating piece. The regulating projection is projected from the other end of the resilient contact piece. • Patent number: 7347732
Abstract: A temporary locking jig inserting hole which enables a retainer operating jig to be inserted thereinto from the outside is provided on a side of an inner housing of a female connector from which electric wires are drawn out in such a manner as to extend along a direction in which female terminals are inserted into the inner housing. In addition, a temporary locking retainer side tapered portion is provided on a retainer in such a manner as to correspond in position to the temporary locking jig inserting hole. In association with the insertion of the retainer operating jig from the temporary locking jig inserting hole, the temporary locking retainer side tapered portion is brought into sliding contact with a jig side tapered portion of the retainer operating jig, so as to displace the retainer which is being in a proper locking position to a temporary locking position.

  • Publication number: 20070293071
Abstract: Providing a connector with a lever, which can be prevented from falling away from a connector housing when the lever is pushed in a direction of separating from a mating connector at a condition in the condition, in which the connector housing is disengaged from the mating connector, the connector includes a connector housing, a lever mounted rotatably on the connector housing and a limiter projection. The lever rotates along an arrow so as to move the connector close to a mating connector. The lever rotates along another arrow so as to move the connector apart from the mating connector. The limiter projection limits the lever to rotate along another arrow in a condition that the connector is disengaged from the mating connector.

  • Patent number: 7223114
Abstract: When male and female housings are attached to each other, a side projection of a locking arm contacts and presses a side engaging part to bend the locking arm in a specific amount and overlap a side projection of the locking arm with a projection of the male housing. At this time, a main engaging part contacts and presses downward a main projection of the locking arm. Then, since the projection of the male housing is under the side projection, the locking arm is temporarily supported at both sides and bent in a bow shape vertically. Then, after the male housing is inserted into the female housing further, the bend of the locking arm is released, and simultaneously the main projection and the main engaging part engage with each other to complete the attachment between the male and female housings.

  • Patent number: 7214085
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a cantilever structure connector without an extended portion of a main locking arm and provide also a locking feeling similar to that of a center impeller structure connector. When a male and female housings are connected to each other, rib protrusions disposed at inner walls of ribs abut to side protrusions and parts of side locking arms enter into between the main locking arms and the male housing. Accordingly, the main locking arms become temporarily a center impeller structure. When a center protrusion abuts to main protrusions, the main protrusions are subjected to a large downward force, or a large upward repulsive force.

  • Publication number: 20070072471
Abstract: A connector includes a connector housing, a mat seal, an inner cover, and an outer cover. A connector housing includes terminal-receiving chambers for receiving female terminals. The inner cover catches the mat seal with the connector housing and attaches to the connector housing. The outer cover covers the connector housing. The inner and outer covers are connected to each other by a connecting part and attached to the connector housing. A pressing part of a jig for continuity test presses the inner cover into the connector housing. Then, the connecting part is broken and the inner cover 15 is attached to the connector housing.
