  • Patent number: 4734386
Abstract: A solid body formed by the chemical vapor-phase deposition of, for example, boron nitride is used as a solid dopant source for diffusion doping of semiconductor substrates in place of conventional sintered bodies of boron nitride. By virtue of the extremely low impurity content of the vapor-deposited dopant source in comparison with conventional sintered bodies, which unavoidably contain impurities originating in the powder of the dopant compound for sintering and the binder to facilitate sintering, the semiconductor substrate doped using the inventive dopant source has outstandingly low densities of lattice defects and dislocations in addition to the absence of troubles in the diffusion process due to melting of the binder contained in the sintered dopant sources.

Abstract: A cold rolled steel sheet suitable for enamel coating is provided which consists essentially of, on a weight basis,C: up to 0.005%,P: up to 0.02%,S: up to 0.03%,N: 0.005% to 0.012%,Ti: up to 0.15% andTi.gtoreq.(48/12C+48/14N+48/32S)%,Cu: up to 0.08%, andat least one member selected from As, Sb, and Bi in a total amount of 0.003% to 0.03% or Se and/or Te in a total amount of 0.003% to 0.05% or their combination in a total amount of 0.002 to 0.05%, the balance being Fe and concomitant impurities. The steel is produced by continuously casting a molten steel having the same composition as above, hot rolling and then cold rolling the steel, and continuously annealing the steel at a temperature in the range from the recrystallization temperature to the Ac.sub.3 point. It is also produced by substantially the same procedure but by box annealing the steel having a titanium content increased at a temperature in the range from the recrystallization temperature to 800.degree. • Patent number: 4426668
Abstract: A high-speed tape transport system in a magnetic reproducing apparatus. The reproducing apparatus includes a reel for taking up a magnetic tape on which an information signal and a control signal have been recorded. The system comprises a control head for reproducing the control signal from the magnetic tape, a frequency-voltage converter for producing a voltage corresponding to the frequency or period of the control signal thus reproduced. Moreover, the system includes a reel motor for rotating the reel and a circuit for controlling the reel motor's rotational speed in response to the voltage produced by the frequency-voltage converter. Consequently, the rotational speed of the reel motor is controlled so that the magnetic tape is travelled at a constant high speed.
