  • Publication number: 20180367641
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, and computer program products for obtaining and displaying a large image file over a network. In one embodiment, a user utilizes a computing device to obtain a large image file over a network, such as the Internet. The large image file may be stored in and available from a network device, such as an application server or database. To obtain the image file, a user interface executed on the user's computing device determines which portions of the overall image file are to be displayed in the interface. The interface may utilize one or more image variables to create or generate one or more network addresses at which the image tiles are stored or otherwise available. To retrieve the image tiles, the computing device uses the generated network addresses of the identified image tiles to request and obtain the image tiles.

  • Patent number: 10110714
Abstract: A network access device (NAD) receives a UDP packet from a client to be transmitted to a management server over Internet, the UDP packet including a management message. The NAD is one of NADs managed by the management server. The NAD determines whether the management server is reachable using a UDP protocol. The NAD transmits the UDP packet to the management server using the UDP protocol over the Internet if it is determined that the management server is reachable using the UDP protocol. Otherwise, the NAD extracts a UDP payload from the UDP packet, encapsulates the UDP payload within an HTTP POST request, and transmits the HTTP POST request having the UDP payload encapsulated therein to the management server using a HTTP protocol over the Internet.

  • Patent number: 10074193
Abstract: Examples of memory-efficient techniques for dynamically generating images having customizable image portions are disclosed herein. In particular embodiments, a collection of contributing images with different image information in the contributing image's channel layers is used to generate a composite result image. By combining the subimage data from each channel of the contributing image in accordance with a composite image function, a resultant composite image can be generated that has the desired customized properties selected by the user. To create the customized properties, one or more of the color channel subimages can have their values scaled (e.g., using matrix multiplication) according to the customization preferences of the user such that, when combined with the other contributing images, the desired customized result is presented to the user.
