  • Publication number: 20200305418
Abstract: A tissue graft container is provided having an interior space and including a vent which allows fluid (liquid and vapor) to escape from the container during drying of the tissue graft. The vent may be one or more apertures, one or more elongated openings, or a combination thereof, through one or more components of the container. A tissue graft packaging system having a retainer including first and second members with respective first and second pluralities of channels, and configured to removeably interconnect the first and second members in a closed configuration. The first and second pluralities of channels create a continuous interior space. The retainer further includes a vent, such as apertures, slits, etc., through one or both of the first and second retainers, for allowing moisture to escape from the retainer during the drying of a tissue graft contained within the continuous interior space of the retainer.

  • Patent number: 10695157
Abstract: A tissue graft packaging system having a retainer including first and second members with respective first and second pluralities of channel sidewalls that define first and second pluralities of channels, and first and second engagement means configured to removeably interconnect the first and second members. The first and second pluralities of channel sidewalls are configured to create a continuous interior space between the first and second members. A tissue graft, such as a cryopreserved viable tissue graft, is contained within the continuous interior space of the retainer. Processes for packaging, thawing and rinsing the tissue graft using the tissue graft packaging system and its retainer are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20200202179
Abstract: Logic may identify feature contributions to erroneous predictions by predictive models. Logic may provide a set of two or more models. Each model may train based on a training dataset and test based on a testing dataset and two or more models may be unique. Logic may test the set during a monitoring period. Logic may perform residual modeling on each model in the set during the monitoring period and may determine a list of input features that contribute to a residual of each model of the set. A residual comprises a difference between a predicted result and an expected result. Logic may generate a combined list of the input features from the set and may rank the input features. Logic may perform a voting process to generate the ranks for the input features. And logic may classify features as exogenous or endogenous based on a threshold and the ranks.

  • Publication number: 20200005501
Abstract: A line segment is rendered by two triangles joined by their hypotenuses. A graphics processing system includes a lookup table that contains a plurality of values representing reciprocal square roots for normal vectors to a corresponding plurality of line segments. The dot product of a normal vector to the line segment is scaled by a scaling factor and input to the lookup table. The scaling factor has a trivial/simple square root and is a power of 2 so that multiplication of binary values may be performed by shifting. A value is output from the lookup table representing a reciprocal square root of the normal vector to the line segment. A half unit normal vector to the line segment is determined based on the normal vector to the line segment and the output value and is used to determine the two triangles for rendering the line segment.

  • Patent number: 10388142
Abstract: A method for outputting a combined power source alarm for an implantable blood pump includes determining a status for each of first and second power sources of the blood pump. A combined power source alarm based on the statuses of the first and second power sources is outputted. A method for generating an alarm based on fault detections in a mechanically assisted circulation system includes processing a series of fault detection indications to classify a fault as active or inactive. An alarm is generated if the fault is active for more than a predetermined amount of time.

  • Patent number: 10347365
Abstract: A visualization system comprising a persistent memory, storing a dataset, and a non-persistent memory implements a pattern visualizing method. The dataset contains discrete attribute values for each first entity in a plurality of first entities for each second entity in a plurality of second entities. The dataset is compressed by blocked compression and represents discrete attribute values in both compressed sparse row and column formats. The discrete attribute values are clustered to assign each second entity to a cluster in a plurality of clusters. Differences in the discrete attribute values for the first entity across the second entities of a given cluster relative to the discrete attribute value for the same first entity across the other clusters are computed thereby deriving differential values. A heat map of these differential values for each first entity for each cluster is displayed to reveal the pattern in the dataset.

  • Patent number: 10317170
Abstract: A fireworks launcher assembly can include a sleeve having a cavity defined therethrough, and a firing tube at least partially received within in the cavity of the sleeve. The firing tube can comprising a passage defined therethrough and plurality of rifling features defined about an interior surface thereof. The plurality of rifling features can cause one or more aerial shells loaded into and launched from the firing tube to rotate as the one or more aerial shells move along the firing tube during launching thereof. A wadding insert further can be received at least partially within the passage of the firing tube, and a base portion can be connected to a lower end of the firing tube to maintain the launching assembly in a generally upright orientation before, during, and/or after launching of the one or more aerial shells therefrom.

  • Publication number: 20180371545
Abstract: Methods for screening clonotypes are provided. Data representing a plurality of cells from a single subject is obtained. The data represents a plurality of clonotypes. The data includes a plurality of contigs for each respective clonotype in the plurality of clonotypes. Each respective contig in the plurality of contigs comprises (i) an indication of chain type for the respective contig and (ii) a contig sequence of an mRNA of the respective cell. There is determined, using the data, for each respective clonotype in the plurality of clonotypes, a number of the plurality of cells that represent the respective clonotype. In some instances, more than one cell in the plurality of cells have the same clonotype in the plurality of clonotypes. In some instances, the plurality of clonotypes comprises 25 clonotypes and where the plurality of cells includes at least one cell for each clonotype in the plurality of clonotypes.
