  • Patent number: 11138654
Abstract: Techniques described herein include systems and methods for throttling requests for content to reduce stress on a check out pipeline associated with an electronic marketplace thereby avoiding overstressing a server to the point of no longer processing requests from users. In embodiments, first information may be maintained that identifies a ranking for a plurality of items based on a score. A predicted velocity of content requests about the plurality of items may be maintained and second information about an actual velocity of content requests about the plurality of items may be received. In response to a request for content, a portion of items may be identified based on the scores associated with said portion and partition the portion into a number of groups or partitions based on the predicted velocity and the second information. A data object that comprises the portion of items associated with a partition may be generated.

  • Patent number: 11107847
Abstract: A pixel sensor, an imaging array that includes such pixel sensors, and a method for operating an imaging array are disclosed. The pixel sensor includes a transfer gate that connects a photodiode to a floating diffusion node in response to a transfer signal, a reset circuit, and a controller. The reset circuit is adapted to apply either a first potential or a second potential to the floating diffusion node, the second potential being less than the first potential. The controller is configured to cause the reset circuit to apply the first potential to the floating diffusion node while the transfer gate is conducting just prior to a start of an accumulation phase, and then apply the second potential to the floating diffusion node after the transfer gate is rendered non-conducting, the second potential is less than the first potential.

  • Patent number: 11063777
Abstract: Technologies are disclosed herein for asynchronous distributed editing of a structured document, such as a trouble ticket. A document management service receives edits to the structured document. The edits to the structured document include data to be stored in fields of the structured document and information identifying the fields into which the data in the edits is to be stored. The edits are synchronized to other instances of the document management service. Edits to the structured document made at the other instances of the document management service are also received and stored. When a request is received for the structured document, the edits to the document made at the various instances of the document management service are sorted based upon the order in which they were created. The edits are applied in the sorted order to generate the structured document.

  • Patent number: 10742219
Abstract: A frequency divider includes a circuit that receives an input clock signal having a period T on an input port thereof and generates an output clock signal on an output port thereof having a period MT in response to a control signal specifying M is disclosed. Here, M is a positive integer and all transitions between logical one and logical zero in the output clock signal occur at integer multiples of T. In one embodiment, the circuit includes a module string having characterized by N identical modules connected in series to form a string of modules. Each module is configured such that when the clock signal having period T is input to the first module, the output clock signal having a period of MT is output from the last module, where M can have any value between one and a maximum number that depends on N.

  • Patent number: 10606449
Abstract: Techniques for managing and discovering data using visual or audible representations may be provided. The data, in some examples, may correspond with individual items, and the system may correlate each item with a representation of the item (e.g., for navigation, for accessibility, etc.). The representations may be provided to allow discovery of the items in response to adjusting the resolution, audibly requesting information, or panning across a display to discover items that are displayed as these representations outside of the original presentation of representations. In some examples, the representation of the item may not be unique to the item or may be represented as a placeholder image or description. The higher the resolution, the more detail about the item may be provided. When an item is selected, item data may be provided that corresponds with the item.

  • Patent number: 10543673
Abstract: Described herein is a system and method for detecting and compensating for an anomaly in three-dimensional object fabrication. A wall thickness computation component computes a wall thickness of a three-dimensional object to be fabricated. An edge map generation component generates an edge map for one or more portions of the three-dimensional object to be fabricated satisfying one or more wall thickness criteria. The wall thickness criteria includes, for example, a computed wall thickness less than an extrusion width of a fabrication apparatus, a computed wall thickness greater than an extrusion width and less than twice the extrusion width and/or a computed wall thickness not an integer multiple of the extrusion width. A tool path generation component generates a tool path based on the generated edge map.

  • Patent number: 10417634
Abstract: Methods, devices and program products are provided to provide on-line transaction verification. The method comprises receiving a transaction request and sending a transaction verification request to a computing device and/or account associated with a user. The method receives an electronic key authorization (EKA) code from a transaction verification apparatus. The EKA code is inaccessible when first and second housing portions of the apparatus are dis-connected from one another. The method determines whether the EKA code matches an account authorization code. A match indicates approval of the transaction. The transaction verification apparatus comprises a housing separated into first and second housing portions that are physically connectable to, and dis-connectable from, one another. The EKA code is only readable by the computing device from the transaction verification apparatus when first and second housing portions are connected to one another.
