  • Patent number: 10112712
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a series of multiuse UAV docking stations are disclosed. The docking stations can be networked with a central control and a plurality of UAVs. The docking stations can include a number of services to facilitate both UAV guidance and maintenance and community acceptance and benefits. The docking stations can include package handling facilities and can act as a final destination or as a delivery hub. The docking stations can extend the range of UAVs by providing recharging/refueling stations for the UAVs. The docking stations can also include navigational aid to guide the UAVs to the docking stations and to provide routing information from the central control. The docking stations can be incorporated into existing structures such as cell towers, light and power poles, and buildings. The docking stations can also comprise standalone structures to provide additional services to underserved areas.

  • Publication number: 20180284955
Abstract: Techniques for managing and discovering data using visual or audible representations may be provided. The data, in some examples, may correspond with individual items, and the system may correlate each item with a representation of the item (e.g., for navigation, for accessibility, etc.). The representations may be provided to allow discovery of the items in response to adjusting the resolution, audibly requesting information, or panning across a display to discover items that are displayed as these representations outside of the original presentation of representations. In some examples, the representation of the item may not be unique to the item or may be represented as a placeholder image or description. The higher the resolution, the more detail about the item may be provided. When an item is selected, item data may be provided that corresponds with the item.

  • Publication number: 20180264751
Abstract: Described herein is a system and method for detecting and compensating for an anomaly in three-dimensional object fabrication. A wall thickness computation component computes a wall thickness of a three-dimensional object to be fabricated. An edge map generation component generates an edge map for one or more portions of the three-dimensional object to be fabricated satisfying one or more wall thickness criteria. The wall thickness criteria includes, for example, a computed wall thickness less than an extrusion width of a fabrication apparatus, a computed wall thickness greater than an extrusion width and less than twice the extrusion width and/or a computed wall thickness not an integer multiple of the extrusion width. A tool path generation component generates a tool path based on the generated edge map.

  • Patent number: 10057251
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for provisioning account credentials via a trusted channel. An account configuration manager automatically determines a credential reset format that is associated with an account. The account configuration manager then automatically requests a security credential reset for the account using the credential reset format. A security credential communication is received via a trusted channel of communication that is linked to the account for reset purposes. The account configuration manager parses the security credential communication to determine a security credential for the account.

  • Patent number: 9755885
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments including systems and methods relating to the rendering of media content items on clients. For example, a media content item is designated in a server to be rendered on a client, where the server is configured to stream the media content item to the client. It is determined whether a copy of the media content item is locally accessible to the client for rendering on the client. When the copy of the media content item is not locally accessible to the client, the media content item is streamed from the server to the client. The server may obtain from the client a license to share the media content item for streaming to a predefined number of other clients when the copy of the media content item is locally accessible to the client and the client has the license.

  • Patent number: 9711189
Abstract: A buffer circuit with an adjustable reference voltage is presented. The buffer circuit with adjustable reference voltage has an input buffer circuit that is connected to a data input and a reference voltage. The output of the input buffer circuit is connected an eye monitor circuit that generates a transition signal based on a number of transitions of an output of the input buffer circuit. The output from the eye monitor circuit is that processed by a calibration control circuit that transmits a selection signal to a multiplexer. The multiplexer selects a level of the reference voltage based on the selection signal from the calibration control circuit.

  • Publication number: 20160378108
Abstract: This disclosure describes a collective UAV in which multiple UAVs may be coupled together to form the collective UAV. A collective UAV may be used to aerially transport virtually any size, weight or quantity of items, travel longer distances, etc. For example, rather than using one large UAV to carry a larger or heavier item, multiple smaller UAVs may couple together to form a collective UAV that is used to carry the larger or heavier item.

  • Patent number: 9504156
Abstract: To achieve an even distribution of different types of connections, sets of connection cells have been devised having different ratios of signal, power and ground connections in which the signal connections are all within a maximum distance of a power and/or a ground connection. In addition, the shapes of the cells are such that the cells fit together in a repeatable array that fully covers the plane of the interface, i.e., an array that tiles the plane. Accordingly, to distribute the connections substantially uniformly across the interface, the ratio of the number of signal connections, power connections and ground connections is determined; a cell is selected from the set of cells that has approximately the same ratio of the number of signal connections, power connections and ground connections; and the selected cell is repeatedly used to allocate the signal, power and ground connections in accordance with the distribution of connections in the selected cell until all the connections are distributed.

  • Patent number: 9166596
Abstract: Integrated circuits may include memory interface circuitry that communicates with memory. The memory interface circuitry may include latch circuitry that receives a data strobe enable signal from the memory controller and latches the data strobe enable signal using a data strobe signal received from the memory. The integrated circuit may include logic circuitry that gates the data strobe signal using the latched data strobe enable signal. The logic circuitry may pass the data strobe signal in response to activation of the latched data strobe enable signal. The integrated circuit may include counter circuitry that monitors the gated data strobe signal. The counter circuitry may monitor the gated data strobe signal by counting pulses in the gated data strobe signal to produce a counter value. When the counter value reaches a target value, the logic circuitry may block the data strobe signal from passing to the memory controller.

  • Patent number: 9099999
Abstract: An integrated circuit in a multi-chip package is provided. The integrated circuit may include adjustable interface circuitry configured to interface with other off-chip components. In particular, the adjustable interface circuitry may include a microbump input-output buffer operable to drive signals off of the integrated circuit and operable to receive signals from other integrated circuits in the multi-chip package via a microbump. The microbump input-output buffer may include output buffers and input buffers. The output buffers may have programmable drive strengths and may each be selectively switched in and out of use depending on the desired application. Each output buffer may include a level shifter, a buffer circuit, and multiple inverter-like circuits each of which can be turned on or off to adjust the drive strength of that output buffer.
