  • Publication number: 20150175768
Abstract: The invention is concerned with the field of polymer chemistry and relates to elastomeric materials as usable, for example, as an inner liner material for motor vehicle tyres, and to the use thereof. The problem addressed by the present invention consists in specifying elastomeric materials having relatively low gas permeability. The problem is solved by elastomeric materials comprising butyl and/or halobutyl rubbers or mixtures thereof, with 1 to 20 phr of at least one liquid imidazolium salt and with 1 to 40 phr of at least one filler having a graphitic structure. The problem is additionally solved by the use of the inventive elastomeric materials for elastomer materials having low to very low gas permeability.

  • Publication number: 20150143011
Abstract: Interruption facility for adjunct processor queues. In response to a queue transitioning from a no replies pending state to a reply pending state, an interruption is initiated. This interruption signals to a processor that a reply to a request is waiting on the queue. In order for the queue to take advantage of the interruption capability, it is enabled for interruptions.

  • Patent number: 8967519
Abstract: A self-locking safety belt retractor has a blocking apparatus for a belt shaft mounted rotatably in a housing. The blocking apparatus includes a pawl inserted into a recess of the shaft front of the belt shaft which can be pivoted radially outward into engagement with the blocking apparatus. A blocking gearing (12) is oriented with respect to stop surfaces of the pawl (16) and to force transmission surfaces (25, 32) of the recess (15) such that, when the gear teeth of the pawl (16) are engaged in the blocking gearing (12) under normal load, a force acts between the blocking gearing (12) and the belt shaft (13) in a radial direction. If the load increases in a crash case, a force is transmitted in the circumferential direction due to plastic deformation of at least one housing gear tooth (28, 26) of the blocking gearing (12).

  • Patent number: 8766760
Abstract: A switchgear unit switches high DC voltages, particularly for interrupting of direct current between a direct current source and an electrical device. The switchgear unit contains two connections which project from a housing and which are electrically conductively coupled by a conductor path, a contact system which is arranged between the first and second connections and an isolating apparatus that can be tripped by a thermal fuse. The thermal fuse contains a melting location which is arranged in the conductor path and which is connected first to the contact system and second via a moving conductor section to the first connection. The isolating apparatus is tripped and the connection between the conductor section and the contact system is broken at the melting location when an arc produced when the contact system is opened has caused the melting temperature of the melting location to be reached or exceeded.

  • Publication number: 20130309344
Abstract: A pellet machine includes a hopper feeding a pair of inter-locking counter-rotating dies. Feeders convey material from the hopper to pre-compression rollers on the dies. A mat of the material is rotated on the dies into a nip between the pair of dies. Teeth on each die are in opposed facing relation to the teeth on the opposite die as the teeth rotate into the convergence area in the nip. Pellet forming chambers are inter-leaved between the teeth on both dies. The teeth are offset between the two dies so that the teeth act as plungers driving and compressing the material mat into and through the chambers as the teeth on each die drive into the opposed facing depression between the teeth on the opposite die. The material is driven through the chambers to extrude into the interiors of the dies.

  • Patent number: 8332865
Abstract: Managing the workload across one or more partitions of a plurality of partitions of a computing environment. One or more processors are identified in a partition to be managed by a quality weight defined according to characteristics of each corresponding processor. A load of each identified processor is measured depending on the requests already allocated to be processed by each corresponding processor. Each identified processor has a performance factor determined based on the measured load and the quality weight. The performance factor is a measurement of processor load. A new request is identified to be allocated to the partition, selecting a processor from the partition with the lowest performance factor. The new request is allocated to the selected processor.
