  • Publication number: 20050057746
Abstract: A cemented optical element is disposed on a test sample and a laser light which is emitted from a laser light source section is incident into a prismatic plane so as to separate the laser light into a reflected light on the separating plane and a transmitted light on the separating plane on a light path separating plane. The reflected light on the separating plane passes through a prismatic plane so as to be condensed on a light receiving plane. The transmitted light on the separating plane is reflected on a reflecting plane having power so as to be condensed. Spots are formed on the light receiving planes which came through the prismatic plane. Sensitiveness for measuring angles can be changed while changing the length of the light path and the power.

  • Publication number: 20040189983
Abstract: A reflective surface for detection is provided in an object being detected. Laser light condensed by a condensing lens is emitted from a laser light source and angle detection is performed by performing angle detection of the reflected light. The reflected light is irradiated onto a beam splitter and the optical path thereof is split by an optical path splitting surface to form luminous flux spots on light receiving surfaces of two four section light receivers. Optical path lengths from the reflective surface for detection to the respective light receiving surfaces are changed enabling the angle detection sensitivity to be altered. In an angle detection apparatus, an optical signal switch system, and an information recording and reproduction system, it is possible to make multiple detections of an inclination angle of a detection object using a compact structure.

  • Patent number: 6765730
Abstract: A dispersion compensator is formed by an angular dispersion element, a diffracting optical element, and a reflecting mirror. By forming a reflecting surface in free-formed surfaces which are different between Y-Z plane and X-Z plane and shifting a reflecting position on a reflecting surface per wavelengths, dispersion and dispersion slope are compensated by having an optical path length difference per wavelengths. By doing this, it is possible to realize a dispersion compensator which can compensate dispersion and dispersion slope simultaneously with low loss.

  • Patent number: 6748418
Abstract: A technique for permitting collaboration and coordination between the content displayed in multiple web browsers, such as the browser for a customer and the browser for a company agent. An HTTP request is sent from a customer browser to a web server via a collaboration server. The web server then sends an HTTP message responding to this request to the customer web browser via the collaboration server. At this time, the collaboration server refers to stored information, such as past history information and customer purchasing records. When the HTTP message includes data which corresponds to a predetermined condition relative to the stored information, the collaboration server embeds a program for displaying predetermined information in the HTTP message. The modified HTTP message is then sent to one of a customer browser or the browser of a collaborating agent collaborating with the customer or both, and the embedded program is executed and predetermined information is displayed.
