  • Publication number: 20040044768
Abstract: A Set-Cookie header rewriting part of a reverse proxy receives an HTTP response from a web server, and deletes the domain parameter included in the header. The components of the domain parameter are rearranged into inverse order, and the rearranged components are embedded in the HTTP response. This puts the HTTP response in a format recognizable by the user terminal. A link/location header rewriting part rewrites the domain and path of a link and location into a format conforming to the HTTP response that was rewritten by the Set-Cookie header rewriting part. An HTTP response sending part sends the rewritten HTTP response to the user terminal.

  • Publication number: 20040027690
Abstract: A dispersion compensator is formed by an angular dispersion element, a diffracting optical element, and a reflecting mirror. By forming a reflecting surface in free-formed surfaces which are different between Y-Z plane and X-Z plane and shifting a reflecting position on a reflecting surface per wavelengths, dispersion and dispersion slope are compensated by having an optical path length difference per wavelengths.

  • Patent number: 6677539
Abstract: A load sensor is assembled by screwing a nut on a bolt, sequentially fitting a washer and a tube spacer on the bolt, fitting a bore of a strain-generating member on the tube spacer, fitting another washer on the bolt, tightening another nut, and clamping a bobbin-shaped unit composed of the washers and the tube spacer between the nuts in the axial direction of the bolt. Since the strain-generating member having a thickness less than the height of a strain-generating member holding space formed between the washers is placed in the space with some clearance, even when the washers are fixed to the bolt by a strong pressing force, the pressing force will not directly act on the strain-generating member.

  • Publication number: 20040006518
Abstract: A method of offering product information from a manufacturer server to a user server or to a shop server is provided. The manufacturer server receives usage record information including user ID information and product ID information and then stores it in a usage record information storage part. Product information is retrieved from the product information storage part using the received usage record information as a key. If the product information to be sent is sales promotion information, the time period of usage of the product is taken into consideration. Finally, the product information that may be promotion information and/or suggestion information is sent to the user server or to the shop server.

  • Publication number: 20030210911
Abstract: A dispersion compensator comprising an angular dispersive element that varies the angle at which the light, emitted from the optical transmission element through which it is transmitted, is output depending on its wavelength; an optical element that condenses the light emitted from the angular dispersive element; an optical deflector that deflects the light emitted from the optical element; and a reflecting mirror that is disposed in proximity to the focal point position in the optical system and that has a reflecting surface whose shape along the direction perpendicular to the plane on which the light is deflected changes at least in the direction along the plane on which the light is deflected.

  • Publication number: 20030206229
Abstract: There is disclosed a work data collection method. In a darkroom, a data collector (12) photographs a series of jobs through an infrared video camera (14) while observing the jobs being done by a worker (11) through a darkroom goggle. At each break point between the jobs, the data collector operates a hand switch board (21) to enter a break point signal and select a corresponding job title from among a list of job titles displayed on an LCD device (15) that the data collector puts on behind the darkroom goggle. Then, the break point signal and job title data are recorded in association with each other on a hard disc of a portable personal computer (20). If the corresponding job title is not listed, the data collector says that job title to enter it as a sound signal through a microphone. The sound signal is converted into character data of the job title.

  • Patent number: 6634235
Abstract: A load sensor is provided, which prevents defective printing of strain-sensing elements caused by the deflection of a pressure-receiving portion and provides stabilized quality and fabrication yields. The load sensor is provided with the strain-sensing elements printed on the pressure-receiving portion. The tip portion of the strain generating portions having a loading point is allowed to stay in advance below the plane containing the print surface of the strain generating portions in the direction of thickness. The tip portion of the pressure-receiving portion will never stay above the print surface of the strain generating portions even when the pressure-receiving portion is deflected in the heating process during fabrication. Therefore, this makes it possible to avoid defective printing of the strain-sensing elements caused by the deflection of the pressure-receiving portion.

  • Publication number: 20030179366
Abstract: A light of measurement emitted from a semiconductor laser (1) is incident to a beam splitter formed by a prism (4). The light of measurement transmits into an incident surface (3) having a positive power so as to be emitted to a reflecting surface (5c) of measurement. A light reflected there is returned by a beam splitting surface (4a) so as to be reflected by a concave reflecting surface (6). The reflected light is returned so as to be condensed and focused on a light receiving surface (8) of sensor in a light measuring device (7). A position of a spot of light which is received is measured so as to measure the deflection angle of a rotating mirror (5).

  • Patent number: 6591489
Abstract: A photographic film cassette manufacturing apparatus, has a perforator for providing a long film with perforations and a cutter for cutting the long film into individual filmstrips to be contained in the film cassette driven synchronously with transport of the long film. A magnetic recording head for recording data on a magnetic recording layer of the long film is driven in synchronism with the perforator and the cutter. The long film is transported in a first direction before being cut into the individual filmstrips. In cooperation with the cutting, a trailing end of the individual filmstrip in the first direction is moved in a direction which is reverse to the first direction to secure the trailing end to the spool. A cassette shell consisting of a pair of shell halves is temporarily assembled by mating the shell halves together while containing a spool inside the shell halves, and thereafter opened to an extent that confining elements still confine the position of flanges of the spool.

  • Publication number: 20030061291
Abstract: The electronic mail relay apparatuses relay electronic mails from the transmitting terminal to the receiving terminal. The recipient determines whether a received mail is a junk mail or not. If the mail is a junk mail, the recipient sends a warning notice with respect to the transmitter. If the recipient sends the warning notice a second time, then a penalty invoice notice is issued with respect to that particular transmitter.

  • Patent number: 6535678
Abstract: The present invention's multimode optical fiber is characterized in that the propagating modes include a mode the lowest and second or higher order modes; and the difference between the propagation constants of the lowest order mode and the second order mode is 2-fold or more than the difference between the propagation constants of adjacent modes that are second order or higher order modes. Due to this design, single mode propagation becomes possible once the modes have propagated over a specific distance. As a result, it is possible to relax the conventional single mode conditions, enabling the fiber parameters to be set relatively freely.

  • Publication number: 20030043266
Abstract: Biological data obtained through observation devices and job titles are recorded on a data recording device in association with time data that are generated at regular intervals. A data processing computer produces a graph from the data read out from the data recording device. The observation devices, the data recording device and the data processing computer are connected to a network, so that a required graph may be produced by processing data at a place remote from the observatory.
