  • Patent number: 5082744
Abstract: A packaging material which comprises a pair of inflation film layers disposed symmetrically and joined through a pseudo-adhesive portion formed by blocking thereof. In the packaging materials of the invention, a pair of inflation film layers is joined to each other by blocking in a flexible state to some degree without using adhesive. Therefore, they are not always joined completely integrally, and little space remains between the inflation film layers. The space can be increased by controlling the properties of the inflation film layers, blocking conditions and the like. By this pseudo-adhesion, physical strength such as tear strength is improved, buffer action is imparted and curling is prevented.

  • Patent number: 5063294
Abstract: A converged ion beam apparatus wherein a very small beam spot can be formed with a high energy ion beam after passing a reduced route in which a type of the ion beam is classified. The device is incorporated in an apparatus wherein an ion beam from an accelerator is introduced in a spot to a specimen by way of an ion type classifying device, an objective collimator and a beam collector to perform reforming of a surface or an analysis of physical properties and/or composition or the like of a small area of the specimen. The objective collimator is disposed just on the downstream of the accelerator, and an analyzing component for analyzing an ion type and energy of a beam is interposed in a drift space in an object distance between the objective collimator and a quadruple pole magnetic lens. Several components of the apparatus are also improved including the quadruple pole magnetic lens, an objective slit device and a specimen chamber.

  • Patent number: 4989802
Abstract: A core that is adapted to receive web material such as a wound film roll includes inner and outer coaxial cylinders joined together by a ring plate that extends perpendicular to the longitudinal axes of the inner and outer cylinders. A plurality of radially disposed ribs are positioned between and connected to the inner and outer cylinders. At least one projection is provided on the core at one of various places such as the inner surface of the outer cylinder or the outer surface of the inner cylinder. The projection increases frictional resistance between the mold core and the molded core, thereby ensuring the mold core will be ejected with the core from the mold cavity. The core is manufactured from a resin composition comprising 70 to 30 wt. % of polypropylene resin having a melt index of 10 to 60 g/10 minutes, a bending elastic modulus of more than 8,000 kg/cm.sup.2, an Izod impact strength of more than 2 kg.cm/cm and a Rockwell hardness of more than 70 R, 30 to 70 wt.

  • Patent number: 4925711
Abstract: A packaging bag for photosensitive materials has an opening and welded fin sides wherein the bag and comprises a folded cylindrical coextruded multilayer inflation film having at least one light-shielding layer containing a light-shielding material, said opening being formed of the uncut ends of the folded inflation film, and said welded fin sides being formed of both cut portions of the inflation film, and a bag-making method thereof.

  • Patent number: 4894264
Abstract: A single-sheet gusset bag for photographic photosensitive materials formed of a laminated sheet comprising a metal foil layer or metallized flexible sheet layer, a water-absorptive, and heat-resistant flexible sheet layer which resists dust formation laminated on the outside of said metal foil layer or metallized flexible sheet layer, and a light-shielding polyolefin resin film layer containing at least linear low density polyethylene resin, carbon black and an antioxidant and having a thickness of more than 50 .mu.m laminated on the inside of said metal foil layer or metallized flexible sheet layer, and the bottom seal portion is turned or rolled and fixed by an adhesive or adhesive tape.

  • Patent number: 4876125
Abstract: A single-sheet gusset bag for photographic photosensitive materials comprising a laminated sheet of which the inner surface layer is a light-shielding polyolefin resin film layer and the outer surface layer is a heat-resistant flexible sheet layer, and having a botom seal portion fixed by a hot-melt adhesive having a softening point by ring and ball method of 75 to 115 C of which the coating amount in the center portion is less than the coating amount of the side portion. In the gusset bag of the invention, the bottom seal portion can be effectively sealed without incidence of fogging and uneven gloss caused by the heat of the hot-melt adhesive. Since the gusset bag is formed of a single sheet, packaging is readily achieved. The cost of the packaging material is also inexpensive.
