Abstract: A status indicator and status indicating method are provided to indicate multi-working statuses of an electronic device with a single status indicator. The status indicator includes an MCU (10, 10?), and an LED circuit. The MCU includes a CPU (101), a ROM (103), a RAM (105), a counter (107, 107?) and an output port (111, 111?). In a first embodiment, the MCU further includes a PWM register (109). The CPU detects a current working status, and controls the PWM output port to output corresponding PWM waves via the PWM register according to the first embodiment, and executes an interrupt service routine stored in the ROM, thereby outputs corresponding PWM waves via the output port according to a second embodiment. The PWM waves are delivered to the LED circuit to make the LED indicate the current working status.

Abstract: A touch sensing apparatus includes a signal source for generating an alternating current signal, a conductor connected to the signal source, a sensor for receiving a noise generated by a contact of an object. The sensor together with the conductor form a simulated capacitor that results in alternating current signal flowing through the sensor when the sensor is contacted by the object. A detector has a first input end and a second input end. The detector results in voltage differences between the first and second input ends thereof when receiving the alternating current signal output from the sensor, and thus output a signal. A rectifying circuit is used for rectifying the alternating current signal generated by the signal source and simultaneously generating a noise. One end of the rectifier circuit is connected to the signal source and other end of the rectifier circuit is connected to the second input end of the detector.

Abstract: A switching power supply with clamping circuit includes a clamping circuit between a slave output terminal and a master output terminal thereof, to prevent voltage drift at the slave output terminal. When the output voltage at the slave output terminal steps up to a certain level, the voltage stabilizing circuit functions and enables the switching circuit, and therefore prevents the output voltage from climbing higher than the load requires.

Abstract: A method for automatically generating a play list based on the age of the media recording (based on released date) and the time period the media file was last played. This method uses tags on the media file to store the corresponding dates and generates a weight value on each media file by using an algorithm based on settable values for each elapsed time period of the released date and the last played date. The present invention makes the play-list more tailored to a user's listening preferences.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for generating a play-list of media files, includes the steps of: setting a weight field in the tag for storing a weighted value of the media file; receiving a control command in course of playing a media file; increasing the weighted value in the weight field of the media file if the control command is for replaying the media file; decreasing the weighted value in the weight field of the media file if the control command is for skipping the media file; receiving a control command being for generating a play-list; and generating the play-list of the media files according to the weighted values thereof in response to the control command. The digital watermarking system mainly includes a storing unit, a background image obtaining module, a pixel determining module, an encrypting module, and a storing module. The storing unit is for storing text information, the text information including textual information and one or more background images. The background image obtaining module is for obtaining one background image to be watermarked from the storing unit. The background image includes plural pixels, and each of the pixels has a brightness value. The pixel determining module is for earmarking the pixel to be adjusted, an initial brightness value of the earmarked pixel being in a predetermined range. The encrypting module is for adjusting the brightness value of the earmarked pixel. The storing module is for storing watermarked text information in the storing unit. Related methods are provided.
