    Abstract: A status indicator and status indicating method are provided to indicate multi-working statuses of an electronic device with a single status indicator. The status indicator includes an MCU (10, 10?), and an LED circuit. The MCU includes a CPU (101), a ROM (103), a RAM (105), a counter (107, 107?) and an output port (111, 111?). In a first embodiment, the MCU further includes a PWM register (109). The CPU detects a current working status, and controls the PWM output port to output corresponding PWM waves via the PWM register according to the first embodiment, and executes an interrupt service routine stored in the ROM, thereby outputs corresponding PWM waves via the output port according to a second embodiment. The PWM waves are delivered to the LED circuit to make the LED indicate the current working status.

    Abstract: A touch sensing apparatus includes a signal source for generating an alternating current signal, a conductor connected to the signal source, a sensor for receiving a noise generated by a contact of an object. The sensor together with the conductor form a simulated capacitor that results in alternating current signal flowing through the sensor when the sensor is contacted by the object. A detector has a first input end and a second input end. The detector results in voltage differences between the first and second input ends thereof when receiving the alternating current signal output from the sensor, and thus output a signal. A rectifying circuit is used for rectifying the alternating current signal generated by the signal source and simultaneously generating a noise. One end of the rectifier circuit is connected to the signal source and other end of the rectifier circuit is connected to the second input end of the detector.

    Abstract: A switching power supply with clamping circuit includes a clamping circuit between a slave output terminal and a master output terminal thereof, to prevent voltage drift at the slave output terminal. The clamping circuit includes a switching circuit connected between the slave output terminal and the master output terminal, and a voltage stabilizing circuit connected between the slave output terminal and the switching circuit. When the output voltage at the slave output terminal steps up to a certain level, the voltage stabilizing circuit functions and enables the switching circuit, and therefore prevents the output voltage from climbing higher than the load requires.
