Publication number: 20140192057Abstract: A method for creating a graphical representation of data is performed at an electronic device having one or more processors and memory. The device receives a finite set of data points and calculates a respective conical distribution for each respective data point centered on the respective data point and based on a respective data value. Each conical distribution comprises a set of locations and a unique distribution value corresponding to each location. The device determines that a first data value of a first data point is less than a distribution value for a second data point. The distribution value has a location that corresponds to the first data point. Based on that determination, the device calculates an inverse conical distribution in a region around the first data point. The device combines the conical distributions and inverse conical distributions to display a data visualization that includes each of the data points.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 7, 2014Publication date: July 10, 2014Applicant: New Bis Safe Luxco S.A R.L.Inventors: Andrew John Cardno, Peter Stewart Ingham, Bart Andrew Lewin, Ashok Kumar Singh

Publication number: 20140176597Abstract: A method for creating a graphical representation of data in the form of a heatmap is performed at an electronic computing device. The device positions data points on a heatmap for graphical representation and calculates conical distribution values around a first data point based on a first data value associated with the first data point. When a conical distribution value around the first data point is greater than a second data value associated with a second data point, the device adjusts the conical distribution values proximate to the second data point by applying an inverse conical distribution around the second data point. The device renders the heatmap based on the calculated conical distribution values and the adjusted conical distribution values so that the data value of the second data point is visible on the heatmap.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 7, 2014Publication date: June 26, 2014Applicant: New Bis Safe Luxco S.A. Patent number: 8731896Abstract: A virtual testbed for system verification test is provided in which emulated responses are associated with certain steps of a system verification test. The emulated responses can be manually entered or populated with previous test results obtained from execution of the emulation-enabled steps on a real testbed. When the emulation-enabled steps are executed, the system verification test uses the emulated responses as the responses corresponding to the actions of the emulation-enabled steps as if the steps were executed on the real testbed, without actually executing the emulation-enabled steps on the real testbed. Therefore, the virtual testbed of the present invention allows development of test scripts for system verification test without constant, actual access to the real testbed.Type: GrantFiled: July 2, 2009Date of Patent: May 20, 2014Assignee: Spirent Communications, Inc.Inventors: Paul Kingston Duffie, Pawan Kumar Singh, Adam James Bovill, Rory Stephen Latchem

Publication number: 20140117561Abstract: A method of forming a dual damascene metal interconnect for a semiconductor device. The method includes forming a layer of low-k dielectric, forming vias through the low-k dielectric layer, depositing a sacrificial layer, forming trenches through the sacrificial layer, filling the vias and trenches with metal, removing the sacrificial layer, then depositing an extremely low-k dielectric layer to fill between the trenches. The method allows the formation of an extremely low-k dielectric layer for the second level of the dual damascene structure while avoiding damage to that layer by such processes as trench etching and trench metal deposition. The method has the additional advantage of avoiding an etch stop layer between the via level dielectric and the trench level dielectric.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 3, 2014Publication date: May 1, 2014Applicant: Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Ltd.Inventors: Sunil Kumar Singh, Chung-Ju Lee, Tien-I Bao

Publication number: 20140076155Abstract: An embodiment may have two rotary discs including a second disc (a cap) and a first disc; and a rotary ‘cam’ (having ports) placed in the central hole of the first disc. A cap is half the diameter of the first disc. Both face each other and maintain contour complementarity (wall height of the second disc+radial depth of the first disc is constant at contact); either, when both discs rotate on their axes, placed the second disc's radius apart, or when the second disc rotates and revolves on the face of stationary first disc. The cap seals the cavity underneath during the two motions, and without jeopardizing the sealing, permits entry and exit of the radial ridges and furrows of the first disc into it. The ridges sweep the floor (under surface) of the cap and divide the cavity into variable volume compartments that suck and expel fluid simultaneously through the ‘cam’. The machine is designed to work as rotary pump, compressor, turbine or internal combustion engine.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 23, 2013Publication date: March 20, 2014Inventors: Arvind Kumar Sharma, Arvind Kumar Singh
